the funny thing is that, if i'm not mistaken, LL is a knicks fan. :D
but i wouldn't be surprised to find out that his man love is harder for kobe than the knicks as a whole, right LL?
either way, i've learned to accept that haters gonna hate. i've become quite a fan of kobe over the last couple years despite my earlier strong disliking for him. i've seen enough interviews and documentaries about kobe to change my opinion. i still PREFER lebron for many reasons, one being that i'm a homer and love my teams, but kobe's fo sho an interesting guy and a fierce competitor. i know it's about championships and maybe if my teams would win one, i'd be having a different argument, but there are 82 games to play before the playoffs ever happen and every player on every team is an integral part of that. the season doesn't begin when the playoffs begin so despite popular belief, the regular season DOES have relevance and regular season stats DO hold water, but yes, playoff basketball is another world and does elevate the goods from the greats. that said, i'm not arguing potential vs. proof, i'm saying, give a brotha a break. let me enjoy playoff basketball now and argue about the past later.
and how about joakim noah being a complete douche bag. i've never liked that asshole and i still don't. i know he's just trying to stir shit up with his comments about cleveland, and if he really doesn't like it here, then who cares, but jesus is he fucking annoying. it would make me happy to see him fail based on how stupid of a person he is. playing the victim in the press conference after last night's game was a bit over the top "i've been booed my whole life... everywhere i go, i get booed. they don't like me in boston, they don't like me in cleveland, the didn't like me in college... people been booing me my whole life. i don't care, i got my friends." yeah, get a clue moron. people don't boo you because of your talents against their teams, they boo you because you're so unlikeable.
i was impressed with the cavs shooting last night. parker lit it up early on, j moon turned it on at the right time, lebron's dunk was fucking SICK, the whole team played pretty well last night despite chicago playing a hell of a game in the paint. i gotta hand it to the bulls for their performance last night. it's good to get that out of the way and know that the cavs aren't just gonna sit back on the bulls' attempts to overcome being the underdog. game 3 in chicago will be a test, but if the cavs pull out with a W, it's over.
