Hi,

I have some THCa weed on its way. As i understand it is not psychoactive on its own. So i'd like to know the best method to convert it so I can get the most out of it.

Thanks.

Very simple, just smoke it/burn it/decarboxylate it. Google is a great friend for some of these questions LoL. THCA is just weed really. It converts to Delta 9 THC when heated, and basically exists in a legal grey zone for the time being, because prior to smoking it , the herb lacks enough Delta 9 THC to be considered illegal.

So light that shit up and enjoy, if that's what you're seeking . 🙏

based on how you cure it, or when you harvest could one make thc-a bud and thc bud off the same plant?

Pure THCa is a powder that readily melts into an oil which is THC by giving off a carboxy group as a CO2.

I think most of the THC in fresh regular weed is THCa. These "THCa" weeds are just controlled for it. Smoking works, but there may conceivably be some loss due to the decarboxylation conditions compared to a controlled heating. However as stated that would apply to virtually all or at least much of normal weed and maybe even hashish.

Actually what would be interesting is if someone were to try and just smoke or vape pure powder THCa and see how it behaves.

Here in Europe they have THCA isolate and they sprinkle it on the buds or melt the hash and mix it with it they do the same with the vapes. I haven’t seen any natural THCA bud here in Europe it’s all isolate powder.
And if you just smoke the powder it behaves as regular THC

I don't understand why people are so keen to distinctuate THCA from regular THC. THC has always been THCA. Weed plants do not produce THC, its just the natural oxidation product of THCA.

To convert THCA to THC it needs to be heated to 200+ degrees. Or it happens naturally over time through oxidation, but this takes awhile. This is also why older weed seems more sleepy because THCA -> THC -> CBN is the natural degradation cycle.

One can get thcA buds sent to their doorstep in fifty states.

Dispensary weed, on the other hand, is not legally allowed to cross state lines.
Surely if all weed is thcA, dispensaries should be able to sell across states too?
Is it a distinction without a difference, or is dispensary weed different?
Stupid question maybe I win stupid prizes?
I wonder if some dispensaries also send differently labeled product across state lines calling it thcA weed

It works great, ive made vapecarts from it.
Ive also played around with mixing the isolate powder with CBG kif and then making hash in a pollenpress.

You can also mix it in a joint with regular weed or hash for some extra horsepower.
Thats probably my favorite way to use the THCA isolate.
Really makes whatever you smoked before hot way harder.
That way you also get whatever is in the stuff you mixed it with.

It is what is called a loophole.

The law is made by a bunch of mofo's who really dont give a shit and written as such. THCA + heat = THC @ 87%

The grey is vast and deep -- individuals are quick -- bureacrucy is slow and unwieldy.

The system likes low hanging fruit
