Texas Investigators Searching for Girl in 'Ecstasy' Video - Update 13/07/07

i am just pissed that they didn't do a hair test. i don't think they gave the child anything, but it doesn't hurt to be sure
knowing all the public attention about this, and the fact that police HATE it when kids are given drugs, if the police investigating this had ANY reason to suspect that the child had in fact been given drugs, every test would have been given to prove that fact and bring justice to the tards that gave the kid the drugs. giving a hair test just to be sure, would be a waste of money IMO.

Yes, but unfortunatly drug tests are an invasion of privacy and incrediby unreliable.

The girls claim the term they used ‘rolling’ was in relation to the girl rolling her eyes back and was not in reference to the drug ecstasy.

*cough* *cough* bullshit *cough*

sure, a two minute youtube vid isn't enough evidence to determine if the kid was on drugs, but the girls are obviously referring to MDMA considering they even mention a light show 8)

btw, looks like the kid hasn't been tested for drugs at all, and driver of the car was cited for not having a saftey seat even before the video was posted

The toddler and an 8-month old infant who was also in the van, were not tested for drugs, but were examined by a pediatrician and given a clean bill of health, she said.....

"On the way from Houston to Corpus, the driver of the minivan was given a traffic citation as they were traveling through Jackson County for not having the girl in a safety seat," Olguin said. "And she still wasn't in one on the trip back. They did have a seat for the infant, although they were not using it in the video."

I really do hope that the girl wasn't on drugs. :\

so they didn't even test the girl? that's bullshit. looks like another one slipped through the cracks :(

how can they not know they're lying? them saying "look at her, she's probably like 'wtf was i on?"' wasn't a dead giveaway?

from everything I've read it sounds like they've dropped all investigations. it's also unclear if the girl did finally get tested or not

i do tend to agree with what 9mmCensor said.. if the cops thought there was any chance the kid really did E, the parents would be locked up

well, to me it really doesn't look like she was defintily on something. She could have been, but the video doesnt strike me as "wow shes on X!" She is very quiet, and rolling her eyes backwards, but at the end she's laughing.. She could just have well been playing around, or emulating others. she was with babysitters, and her quiteness could easily been shyness too. Its very hard to tell IMO

I have one word to say to everyone in this thread who is upset a child was given a drug. (which I agree is a horrible and irresponsible thing to do)

Sugar.

^^^ yes, sugar and even jusy the taste of sweetness increases dopamine production in the brain, just as cocaine does. Sugar is also raw energy and is very stimulating for children.

Regardless those girls need to be slipped a nice ten strip of acid next tiem they think about "poppin a whole x gurl"

^^ Ha! if they really did slip her an X that would be perfect justice, make them trip hard bad so they know what it felt like 4 her... good 1

Deputies rounding up teens in toddler drug video
By MELANIE MARKLEY, Houston Chronicle
July 10, 2007

"Then like a week later," she said, "all these little no life retardts (sic) R sending me messages talking (expletive)."
What finally happened? Was it a bad joke video or did they really feed the girl a drug? Did they test the girl for signs of drug use?

Anyone who thinks this video is a joke is extremely unintelligent. She is obviously rolling. If you have any knowledge of ecstasy and have seen people rolling, you should know she is.

^idiot.

just stupid.

if you have any knowledge of children and have seen them imitate people/things in order to illicit a positive response from adults could tell this child was simply doing it to get a reaction.
however, the child probaly DID see someone rolling in order to imitate something of that nature.

however kids do crazier shit ALL the time just to get a response(as the child clearly was)

i just dont see an entire car full of people not being concerned about a child who had just taken X if it were true. one or two dumbasses, maybe, but a whole car full??!?! again no matter how low class these people were, with 6 adults in the car, ONE OR TWO would have a conscious.

ya man agree with you.

its bullshit. no doubt that child was related to someone in the car, and therefore i highly doubt such a person would allow the child to consume ecstasy.

but the way those girls talk is awful

This whole incident is unfortunate, but seems to serve only to draw in the shock response. Anytime something supposedly happens to a child its somehow soooo bad, yet cameras catch people being attacked, and even murdered all the time, yet it never draws in attention as when its just a child.

The police have dropped their case, and I say good for them. The child is alive and well. Sure, they could drop millions of tax dollars on this meaningless case, but hey its impacting us more since its "just soooo shocking ,"and "wooooah man, you mean they didn't even arrest her!!?" Please.
