Texas authorities are searching for a little girl in an online video who may have been given the drug ecstasy, MyFOXHouston.com reports.

The video, which was posted online under a heading "Mother Gives Ecstasy to Child," shows the young girl rolling her eyes into the back of her head as she rides in the backseat of a van filled with what appear to be teenage girls. One girl waves an iPod in front of her face and pinches her cheeks.

"Look at her, she rollin' hard," one of the girls said.

"Stop rollin’ girl," one said to the child. "You shouldn’t have popped a full x."

A pamphlet in a pocket of the vehicle's front seat leads Texas officials to believe that the video may have been shot in the Houston area. The van is also tuned to KHCB-FM, a Christian radio station in Houston.

Officials from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office want to identify any of the girls in the video so they can do a welfare check on the child.

Anyone with information on the girls' identities should contact the Jackson County Sheriff's Department at 361-782-3541.

It's good to know that this is actually being investigated now.

I bet the whole thing was a hoax no one would be dumb enough to make that video then post it on youtube.

Sorry, but this is what being "drug crazy" in Amerika is all about.

It's pretty obvious that the little girl is getting attention for herself by "rolling" her eyes, and her handlers are egging her on by making idiotic comments.

Yeah, let's investigate. Meanwhile, some punk is stealing my car radio...

PS: For the statisticians, I'll bet that the risk of harm from not being in a child's car seat is greater than if she actually had ingested a typical dose of MDMA.

Tell that one to the "Happy-Slappers" in the UK, who would film themselves kicking the shit out of random people on their mobile phones, send them to their friends, and yes, post them on the internet. People ARE sometimes THAT dumb.

Having seen the video, there's no doubt in my mind that the little girl was indeed off her face.

And what exactly makes you think that? How does one distinguish between a 3-year-old acting silly and one who is "tripping face"?

In fact, with the light toys and pacifiers, the rave scene sometimes looks to me like a bunch of 3-year-olds on a dance floor...

Ok, rolling ones eyes back into their head is very difficult to do without practice, and even then your eyes would be almost closed whilst doing so. Her eyes are pretty damn wide when they roll into her head. She's also far more lucid than any normal child would be having her face slapped and pinched in such an aggressive manner. The kid would at least be protesting, if not getting visibly upset at such treatment. The complete absence of this suggests that something clearly is not right. I'm around people who roll on a regular basis, and her behavior matches that of at least a few of them on the come-up I also roll at least once a month and I know exactly how I look too.

Obviously it's my own opinion and everyone is entitled to their own, but you shouldn't dismiss the child's physical state as attention-seeking so quickly.

^^^^ I guess that if one thing is for sure, it's idiotic to argue about whether she's intoxicated or not when the only way to know for sure is a chemical test.

Until then, all we have is our theories.

No, this is not a *mystery video, try to see whats going on* , this was posted under a heading of child rolling on ectsasy so it has to be taken at face value by the authorities.

Also the CHILD is clearly non responsive and shows typical behaviour of a person on drugs, specifically MDMA. No child would be able to fake a responsivness of person on drugs like that even if ordered to do so.

And the fact she is curled up on the floor behind a seat is another matter the parents should be charged for.

And even if it is fake, it's all the same to the cops. What's the difference between selling real and fake drugs ? None to them, so the same should be applied here.

Why such irresponsible "parents" have ability to breed is beyond me.

if it was fake whoever posted it would've come forward by now and denied that it was real.

I fail to how this would be anything like selling fake drugs. If this video is fake then getting someone in trouble for it would be like busting a porn actor/actress for prostitution (assuming that is the theme of the porno) or you could look at it like with any actor portraying an illegal act. So no, this is nothing like selling fake drugs.

What are you on about? Non-responsive? Typical behaviour of a person on MDMA?

She responds regularly, if only with her eyes, which is about all she can do squashed up as she is. (And the rolled back eyes is obviously a party trick. She is behaving to please her mother, constantly showing the trick.)

Some people here are gullible. That child is not on mdma. The people in the car may be, and may be guilty of crass stupidity. But that child is not on drugs. Y'all just looking for some outrage to brighten your lives. You should be ashamed.

^^^^ Agreed. Maybe the emotions should be held in check until more is known. But the outrage is always understandable when kids are fed adult drugs.

I agree that the agencies responsible for child welfare should attempt to determine if the child was abused or is at risk for being abused. But until empirical data can be obtained, then it's quite possible that whoever posted the video is just guilty of having a really tasteless sense of humor. So yeah, right now it still is a mystery video.

She displays absolutely no clinical signs or symptoms of unresponsiveness in the video.

This is the only thing that has me foaming at the mouth.

While a particularly senseless provision in Amerikan drug policy provides penalties for people who market 1/4" squares cut from a cover of Mad magazine as LSD, I don't believe there is anything on the books that would punish people for giving M&M's to kids and calling them X&X's. Bad taste maybe...

Well if we can't shoot Mexicans, maybe we can sterilize them.
