Texas Investigators Searching for Girl in 'Ecstasy' Video - Update 13/07/07

You know what really bothered me by this thread?

1. How the same people who are "absolutely positive" that a precocious 3-year-old is on "E" by watching a video would bitch and moan about the proposed Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) policies being proposed in Massachussetts and other states.

2. How people who talk a certain way are labeled "ghetto-girls."

3. How the solution to certain problems is to "shoot the Mexicans.

4. Spinelessly using a child to further what were apparently personal agendas (what does that remind you of?).

Congrats Bluelighters, on being every bit as gullible, racist, pigheaded, and stupid as my Republican neighbor next door.

And I know, I'm engaging in the same pitiful behavior by stereotyping all Republicans with those behaviors, but that's the "joke"...

she clearly is not on drugs. she would be sweating more, i dont see any grinding teeth or pursed lips

looks more like she is being a child trying to emulate older people. a process I like to call "learning"

they are from southwest houston. trust me, they are atleast "ghetto-ish"

As soon as I saw this video on the news, I knew it was bullshit. I don't even think she looks like she's rolling. Its just more overreaction from the media and law enforcement. Yeah, there are some irresponsible people who live in this world, and its not limited to America or "Mexicans", Tobala. So lay off, asshole.

So where the fuck is the drug test then. All this shit can be put to rest if they just took a quick and easy test.

I bet even if the test came back negative theyd never release the results! Don't want to put up a fuss for nothing.

Until i see some test results i am forced to believe that this is just a joke.

This is fucking horrible, what kind of fucking parent would do shit like this ? I hope when they find these people, they will rip them a new asshole on the spot.

If anyone from the usual jokers here is even thinking of posting any half assed jokes about this article, I am warning you now - DO NOT :X

Let's all jump to conclusions huh :\

It looks like all law enforcement have ceased their investigations. They were unable to find any drugs in the 2-year-old girls system.

The girls claim the term they used ‘rolling’ was in relation to the girl rolling her eyes back and was not in reference to the drug ecstasy.

The matter is currently in the hands of child protective services.

^^^^ Well god damn it! :X

Maybe we can at least pass a law that makes what they did a "crime" and apply it retroactively, or put something into the "Patriot Act."

Because they must pay--if only because they are "ghetto-ish" and Mexican. 8)

^^ That was my initial reaction, but now I say lets wait for the hair test and then hang'em bitches dry if guilty

BTW : To those who said the kid would never take a bitter pill, there are many tricks parents use to give kids medicine, so the same could have been easily applied here

Also, the chikcs name on myspace was beanrgrrl, so that would indicate a frequent E user no ?

LOL, beaner = racial slur for a mexican person.

see that wasn't so hard, all we needed was some actual hard evidence.

and kkool some people call ecstasy beans, thus a frequent user might call them self a beaner

well someone in that car was rolling

you can hear one of them in the background say "you shouldn't have taken no x pill" and the one with the camera is smacking her gum and listeninging to music

maybe ignorant is a better term than "ghetto" however I think both apply in this case.

p.s. I grew up and still live in an area where folks act like those chicas in the van

the mother told that to her child, the toddler. there's no way she would be grabbing her face like that, telling her to stop rolling her eyes, etc. if it was just the little girl rolling her eyes because she was mimicking her elders. they wouldn't be making comments about her "popping a whole x" or to "stop rollin so hard, girl." this video was no joke but the fact that authorities dismissed the case so easily is.

the authorities investigated the case, and dismissed it. If there was any reason to believe the child had been harmed as was implied in the video, I am sure a full gamut of testing to prove it would have been done. Cops hate when kids get fucked on drugs, but they aren't going to waste money on a hair test if its not needed.

Sure the child isn't being looked after in the best way (not in a seat and all), but you can say with fair certainty that the kid isn't being forced to take harmful drugs.

Its a joke. They were unsafe in a motor vehicle. Boohoo.

^^^^ Well, there still should be some kind of law passed because of this.

After all, that's what Amerika is good at.

What exactly did they do?
Im no expert but from what I seen in that video doesnt prove that girl was on anything. It doesnt even look like shes on anything.

And what does the "patriot act" (intentionaly not capialized, as the "patriot act" is a threat and an insult to America) have to do with this? Under the "patriot act," anyone can be arrested, and detained indefinitly for no reason at all.

Please remember that the idiots who enact legislation in this country often are motivated by reelection strategies and emotional reactions to nonsense like this video.

The comment about passing a law was intended to be satirical. :D

^^^^ And Brother Mulberry, nobody despises the "Patr-idiot Act" more than I...

yes unfortunatley, bad taste and lack of class can not be legislated.

and there already is a law stating kids need to be in seats, so there isn't anything to be done here.

i am just pissed that they didn't do a hair test. i don't think they gave the child anything, but it doesn't hurt to be sure
