Temazepam?

^ Yes I was going to mention that.
mixing benzos (especially temazepam) with other CNS depressants shouldnt be done by novices.

Temazepam + opiates or alcohol has killed many people in Europe. Not to mention a decent number of celebrities have died as a result of this kind of mixes or similar.
Before temazepam was put under schedule 3 in Britain, it was killing more ppl a year than cocaine was -- consistently.

Question is, do you have a tolerance to any benzos at all?
I have a girl friend that takes a 1/4 of a bar (0.5mg xanax) and knocks the fuck out everytime time she needs to come off her adderall. Furthermore, she was lucky enough to have access to a full bottle of 15mg of temazepam and claims that she sleeps lovely on just one capsule. Thats considering that she does not mix the xanax with temazepam.
My point is, please make sure you are familiar with the effects. Don't want you to fall asleep at a party.

I've always been pretty much knocked out by the 15mg temazepam capsules, and just totally wiped out with the 30mg ones. I can't imagine taking more and being awake long enough to get any enjoyment out of them!

your right. what i meant was using it in a social setting because sometimes i do since my tolerance is up there, i can handle them without passing out.

From what I read in Wikipedia, it seems to be much more tightly regulated than other benzos. It mechanism of action is the same (GABA-A agonism) as other benzos so there must be something else at play, it seems to be a favourite of people. I can only think of its fast onset (oral) compared to say alprazolam and the fact that it may have a higher affinity for the GABA receptor. I have tried a lot of benzos but not this one, can anyone decipher why it is so popular through the oral route? (I am not interested in IV route).

before in start my own thread.

oxcontin + benzos? good mix?

if so which benzo in particular

sorry to the OP x

For someone of your status: One at a time champ. ODing is not as hard as you think it is. It's all to easy with the power of Temazepam with Oxy.
I would only mix Benzos with stims.

Stims are the best to mix with benzos. (Not the psychedelic ones though)

Benzos give stims a whole different flavor of effects.
They smooth them out to the point of a nice wonderful euphoria that doesn't feel pushed upon you too hard.

to the OP...ifr youre using the temazepam for sleep, the fastest way to build up tolerance and make it worthless for sleep is to take massive doses from the beginning. if you have 0 tolerance and 30 mg did nothing, perhaps you are one of those people who arent very med sensitive. if youre purely looking for fun, start low go slow...you can add to the dose but cant subtract. 60mg made you pass out and 30mg did nothing, so 45mg id wager is your sweet spot, for the moment. and as many others have mentioned, respect the benzos...they are wickedly addictive and damn near impossible to stop once youre deep into them. did you take them on a completely empty stomach? were you already sleepy before dosing? benzos are so subjective that maybe temazepam wont be your specific cup o' tea. hope you find the right dose for yourself next time and as for adding oxy, i would say hold off until you know how you react to both and then cautiously proceed with a low dose of each. be safe.

Temazepam is a short-acting Benzodiazepine. It is normally prescribed to people who have difficulty sleeping, or occasionally to reduce anxiety.

Temazepam is produced as a gel-filled capsule, designed to be taken orally. A normal therapeutic dose of temazepam would be 10mg-30mg. If you have a normal dose of Temazepam you may feel less anxious and start to feel relaxed and sleepy. At higher doses the effects are similar to alcohol - you may feel less inhibited towards other people. Your behaviour may be exaggerated (people who are using Temazepam are often very talkative or over-excited, sometimes even hostile or aggressive) and judgement is impaired. You may have a false sense of confidence, or even believe you are invincible.

let us know how it goes. I love benzos, going to get some phenzepam looks good to have around for emergencys.

This...

Just to add, You take huge chances skipping doses or running out.

Beware, temaz is a schedule 3 drug in the UK....only benzo that is.
IF you get caught carrying it without a prescription you COULD be arrested, technically.

I got some restoril ordered online grabbed by customs, they sent me a letter saying that if I didn't pursue it any further then that would be the end of the matter. It was ordered from a cheap & dodgy source...no prescription etc, so you just have to take it up the aris innit.

So that was the end of that. Shame, they were genuine temaz & 3 orders had got through no probs before this happened.

I was paranoid for a while...was all my overseas post being scrutinised etc

^ Yes, i'm always suspicious of people claiming to have gotten temazepam from an online source. The thing with temazepam is that it is listed as a Schedule 3 under a 1971 United Nations treaty (Convention on Psychotropic Substances). The only other benzos listed as such are flunitrazepam and nimetazepam.
So International Law treats these 3 benzos more strictly than all the rest (which are Schedule 4).
Getting Schedule 4 drugs ordered without script is relatively easy, Schedule 3 substances its nearly impossible, unless the drugs are counterfeit

Who much of a higher does would you have to take to get the same effects as alcohol? 30mg didn't do shit.

totally serious post, no disrespect whatsoever, but if youre looking for an alcohol effect, why not just drink alcohol? benzos can make you feel 'drunk' in a way, but theyre so much worse in the addiction potential, unpredictable results (as youve seen) and cost. If you want alcohol in a pill, do a search on the muscle relaxant SOMA. Without fail i take 4 or 5 of those and i'm 'drunk' for hours and usally end up passing out. I DO NOT recommend this SOMA dose for anyone but myself since I have no idea what your tolerance is, or anyone elses for that matter. IMHO, benzos are a nice treat for chilling and after a very stressful day. Using a high dose to get 'drunk' will most likely lead to a blackout and just falling asleep, so youll miss the 'fun' part of the benzodiazepine experience. As others have mentioned, you are very lucky to have a supply of temazepam as its very difficult to get these days due to pandemic abuse in europe. dont waste them just to feel drunk. whatever you decide to do however, be safe.

^^ yeah, that.

I was feeling crazy a couple weeks ago and took, oh, around 150mg (if not more) of temazepam. hahahaha. I ended up blacking out, but not before I broke a couple of things and fell down the stairs attempting to go get a drink. I don't remember anything after that. I woke up the next day feeling crappy, too. The experience was not all that enjoyable; I much prefer temaz at lower doses. What's the fun in blacking out?!

In America the DEA Drug Scheduling doesn't and has never listed Temazepam as a Schedule III substance.

Here is the DEA Controlled Substance list:

http://www.justice.gov/dea/pubs/scheduling.html

and another:

http://www.purdue.edu/rem/eh/DEA.htm#v

I have never heard of Temazepam (or flunitrazepam and nimetazepam) as a Schedule III drug (In America), The only benzodiazpine as a Schedule III substance is Zolazepam which really is a pyrazolodiazepinone derivative structurally related to the benzodiazepines

I don't know what any of these people are talking about, sedated and euphoric....ect. If you take enough jellies to do anything more than sleep, like 3-9 pills, you are gonna be so fucked up, you won't even know it. You'll be putting dog food on sandwitches and get hungry as fuck for anything. You will be talking like your all there, but the shit that comes out of your mouth will not make any sense. Its like taking too much ambien. Enough puts you to sleep. Too much makes you basically drunk as fuck without the hangover or stomach ache or slurred speach.

Yes i know, i'm not talking about the DEA controlled substance list, which lists all benzos as CIV drugs.

I'm talking about the United Nations (NOT United States) Convention on Psychotropic Substances.
