Tell us about the last film you watched, mate!

That's one of my favourite films. There's some seriously good performances in that. Beautiful cinematography too. :)
I love movies that rely on good character development and good acting instead of all the flashy computer-generated images and special effects. This one definitely is up there on my list of good movies. :)

New Rose Hotel

watched it in film class today. was one of the professor's favorite movies. it was embarrassingly bad.

dam, this is my movie for tonight..:|

Desperation The book was absolutely amazing- was going through a challenging period in my life and helped me to keep my faith in check. The movie was a big disappointment. Left out a lot of things and left off all of the kick ass dream sequences( the tree-house, etc) . Also, in the book the main character is not so accepting of God's plan and questions the entity a lot, not so much in the movie which made the whole movie look a lot like "Left Behind". The acting wasn't bad though. The sheriff and the kid who played David Carver did a good job.

The Cure. Good acting by all. Just found out via IMDB that one of the main character's the same kid who played Timmy in Jurassic Park.

That is such a good movie. I challenge anyone to watch it and not cry. I always lose it in the end when
NSFW:
Erik walks away from the funeral home with one shoe and you see that he left his other shoe in Dexter's coffin.
Good stuff.

^ Man that was a great movie
I totally forgot all about it until now.

Think I'll download it.

Here's another great movie I used to love an haven't seen in a very long time
It also has the kid in it who played Timmy in Jurassic Park and the sick boy in The Cure

Last night I watched Psycho Beach Party

T'was better than I expected, though still pretty bad. I enjoyed it in the same was I'd enjoy Gregg Araki's Nowhere. It's just pointlessly bad and trashy with some silly jokes thrown in.

over the last few days, by chance was hit by a rosario dawson trilogy:
he got game, to commemorate ray allen's 3 point record.
alexander (the final cut), since i am now studying the roman eastern frontier in the 3rd and 4th centuries. not that it was confusing, but it made a LOT more sense with my new knowledge.
last night watched the start of clerks 2, got bored and switched off.
