I just watched The Fighter. Not too bad, better than I was expecting. I didn't realize it was a biopic of Micky Ward, i thought it was just a random marky mark boxing movie, and i was pleasantly surprised. If you ever watch High on Crack Street: Lives Lost in Lowell, and then watch the Fighter... wow whoever the casting director was did a great job.

It was pleasing.

I had tried to watch it once before, but was discouraged upon discovering it was a series of still images coupled with narration. Then I had to watch it for film class yesterday, and found out I had made a mistake in giving up on it so quickly because of its form.

12 Monkeys took so much from this movie.
