Teen Tried to Buy Marijuana from DARE Officer

It really sucks they set out to ruin a kids life over sending a message to get some buds to the wrong number. What great use of tax payers money it was for the coppers to set up a sting on a fucking teenager looking to get stoned.

This is a shitty officer. After 3 days of texting she should've been able to negotiate him into buying a thousand ecstasy pills plus a nuclear rod. She could've really poked a hole through the criminal underbelly of her jurisdiction.
^yup. there needs to be stricter guidelines in the way police enforcement can interact with minors.

though in 2 years this boy would be a dumbass adult, not a dumbass minor. police are so good at catching dumbasses. it's good that we send all these idiots away; that way they can contract HIV in their cell block and re-emerge into society broken and dangerous animals--instead of just silly.

it does not help this kid, but you die alone. in this woman's last moment, she will be alone with her waste, filth, and ugliness. in that sense, karma does exist.

/proud

but this article doesnt make a whole lotta sense, it could be one of those put it in the chronological order things from back in grade school

You'd think the kid would be able to pick up the lack of abbreviations and word shortening after 3 days, the way adolescents text back and forth nowadays, not to mention the 3 Ounces for $100 each. BTW, I don't know how much an ounce was in that area, but $100 an ounce sounds fucking cheap to me, and fucked if I know what a 16 year old, dealer or consumer, is going to do with 3 Oz of good bud. Someone said this once and it just reoccurred to me, common sense is not very common.

wait, so they set him up by trying to sell HIM drugs, sold HIM the oregeno, and then confiscated that back? Is that what happened?

^the article or poorly titled. he first tried to buy drugs from the number, but because it was an officer she slowly turned it around so she could get something bigger on him (why? who knows. pedophiles and a select group of police officers like to hurt children). obviously he is not a drug dealer, as he gave her oregano. but she was still successful in getting him to commit the crime.

"He texted back $300 for three ounces and I knew then he was serious about wanting to purchase some,”

what the fuck is she retarded? over 3 days she turns it from this kid saying she had bomb weed into this kid trying to sell her fake weed for $300, then says that shit? and she is the deputy of a drug diversion program..? i bet this bitch started asking if he could get her a cpl oz's and this kid just thought about 3 bills in his pocket for long enough that he decided to slang oregano. it took her 3 fucking days to set something up- it doesnt take 3 days to arrange the sale of 3 oz of mj. obviously the kid needing some convincing.

like i dont get how this kid would go from 'yo some bomb weed man' to 'yo you wanna buy 3 oz's for $300' and then show up to the spot with oregano. did he think the guy he just got 'bomb' weed off of is going to buy oregano?

there is just so much stupidity im blown away.

The kid wants to buy weed so he brings 3 ounces of fake shit to sell for $300.

Nice logic in this article.

my thoughts exactly

I wonder if the kid was given the dare officers phone number as a prank or something. Would have been one helluva gotcha!

my thoughts exactly

Seeing as all texts are permanently stored until further notice by most phone companies, if they wiretap your phone they'd definitely go through all your texts.

my thoughts exactly

wow I was not aware that DARE was still an operating program, after being debunked with replicated empirical evidence...

my thoughts exactly

my other thought: thank god this person is out protecting the public from dangerous texting teenagers. nobody is watching BP, but be careful if you're a tween who's heard pot isn't too bad.
