^ never got the "electric shock" feeling but would have to say the coldest water i been in was southside of Phillip Island Vic, Fucker faces the bass strait, and is as close as ul get to Tasmania, which is closest you get to the south pole:)
Fuck that but im aclimitised to sub tropical waters now, if i were in the States or Canada, I'd be investing me in a motherfuckin wetsuit....a winter one;)

Keen to study also wanna jump into it asap but i fear i may have missed the applications for 2012 although a facebook friend tells me that the uni i wanna do this thru offers it free to pensioners contary to what the govt told me:X

Really bored. Have religious school, more like forced dogma, but it actually has gotten better. Still not looking forward to it, I don't like some of the people there. Only one more year
 
I'd argue with people too much, I used to love getting into theological debates haha. I'm bored too, can't sleep as my pains too bad to get comfy. And I can't reply to pm's yet, when will I be a blue lighter? I have over 50 posts now :(
 
Yes, with a passion. Ironing stuff hurts my arm so bad, the wight ofit and movement etc. I can get away with just hanging my clothes but my son's need ironing. Also rangrz, can't reply to your pm, do you use live messenger or anything?
 
I don't know about religious school but as a non-religious (well, anti would probably be more honest) person I have always thought that the Bar Mitzvah is one of the most beautiful and meaningful of the ancient traditions--at least the two I have been to. It feels like it is more about a community embracing a young man as he begins his journey into adulthood than anything else. I know that you have to study the Torah etc but again that seems more historical than religious. The Bar Mitzvahs I have been to have both been at a very liberal synagog but they were affectionate and included humor which always wins big points with me.:)
 
Yet I now has blue light status and more than one pm every 3 hours.

I'm not very religious, I find it too dogmatic. But I do find it interesting and enjoy reading about different religions. Ifi was to call myself anything, I'd sayim a pagan. I can see nature happening all of the time, rather than some dude in a beard who supposedly created the world in 7 days haha
 
Oh, I've already had that, and I totally agree with you. Now it's just a bunch of speakers and...eh. Conformation sucks. Why do my parents make me do this, I really don't agree with the dogma of religion. I believe there's something, be it a god or what, but there is no way a human can know until they die. Some parts of it I like, others I don't. Like I said, I don't care much for a lot of the people there. A Bar-Mitzvah was very rewarding for me, however, A LOT of studying and memorizing my mind almost melted :(
 
My mum made me get confirmed too, andi have sent my son to a church school as it is a good school. But I think he should be able to make up his own mind about these things so I am not forcing him to go to church, only ifhe wants to. I was forced to go every Sunday for 4 years as a child and I hated it,it was dull. We didn't have a Sunday school. I wouldn't have minded Sunday school I don't think.
 
I don't blame you rangrz. There is place for it in society, it was originally a way to keep people from killing each other and doing bad shit, a way to punish people ( you kill,you go to hell) now we have a judicial system for that. Religion is the main cause of killing and war, it doesn't prevent it, it creates it. I still find some of the theories fascinating though, and also some are quite lolworthy hehe
 
Like I said. I think religion is great when it comes to self improvement, morals, and self exploration, but not when it comes to "bitch you're going to hell" or "I don't like this, so you either like it or I kill you".
