my day was not that bad (other than having to wait in the lobby for an hour n a half while Grease was playing on the TV)
damm near fell asleep in the MRI machine.
I was also sent home with a CD with all the pictures they took of my brain, over 190 separate images!

but I have no idea what the hell im looking at.
oh well, ill just have to wait til i go to the doc's to have it deciphered...

This is getting a bit P&S, but I've got to get my two cents in.

Religion was really useful 3000 years ago. Now it is less than useless; it is actively harmful. The only reason we still have it is because parents teach it to their kids before they have a chance to develop critical thinking skills and the ability/desire to question why they believe.

Debunking the "religion is required for morality" falsity; a rebuttal to the common "god of the gaps" standpoint (basically, god is an excuse to not be curious about anything).

As a sidenote: I want to have Neil deGrasse Tyson's babies.
 
My post missed the word doesn't, I agree with the fact that it is no longer useful in our society. And as for the kids issue, my son is at a catholic school purely for the fact that is a very good school, I do not force him to go to church, if he ever wants to go, that is fine I will take him but I think he should make the decision, not me. I want him to make his thoughts about religion, not be some mindless sheep :).
 
I went to various religious schools my whole life. Depending on the denomination, the indoctrination wouldn't be too bad or extreme.
 
I went to a church school for my high school, I used to argue with the RE teachers all of the time, most hated it but 2 really enjoyed the debate, they were pretty cool teachers though.

Keep us updated with that the doc says man. Does he have any ideas what caused it yet? Hope you're resting up and taking good care of yourself <3

well i havent seen the doc yet, he wasnt in his office today.
but he will be 2morro and thats when we will go over my brain images.

Got a kid free weekend, dont quite know what to do with it...
anyways ive been of the rails a bit, although under controll @ the same time (thank god for seditaves)
always when im childless i get into bad habbit mode, so last night and today and tomorrow will be hazy come Monday then its full on hectic for the week, school ends, graduations, interwiews & trying to get out of the financial hole im in.
Wish me luck...I'm gonna fuckin need it to get thru this week.
 
^ Wishes luck. At least you get a weekend away from the kiddo ;) Enjoy it before you start regretting not appreciating it.

This week was....shitty. Just...blah. Not a very good week, and at the same time some really awesome things happened...

Stuck in the same shit different day syndrome, ma internets gonna be out soon so i may not see you lovley folk for a week or 2... Will @ least give me some reading to do :\

got a roommate,
but we are not social at all.
both sat for hours in the same room and didn't speak at all to each other.
i have tried to get a conversation going, asking her about some art and stuff, and it went no where.

dunno where to start being "friends" with a roommate who is a total stranger?

i don't know if we are both social tards, or if I am the weird one :(
 
HahahaLOL--I know it didn't start out funny, Kaywholed, but you guys are cracking me up. Is this scintillating conversationalist your only roommate?
