in my area of the country that means sweaters, beautiful foliage, apple pies, pumpkin pies, and my favorite apple CIDER! <3
 
Meh autumn. :( I have to start bundling up and hunkering down for the long winter. I'm not ready for this.

I will enjoy the sound of crunchy autumn leaves underneath my feet though. <3
 
Totally agree with you on the winter part :( winter makes me super depressed. And when it snows I feel claustrophobic.

This summer went by too fast, and all I did was work it away.
 
When I first moved to California it was from Vermont. It was very disorienting as nothing seemed to change very much. It's rainier here and colder in the winter but only slightly. Nothing turns orange. There are a few trees that turn a brownish red but nothing like the maples back east. It took me a while to get sensitized to these really subtle changes. To all you photographers out there that live where fall is really fall, bring on the pictures! I miss seeing that unbelievable flame orange, scarlet and vermillion. The best thing we have here are Chinese Pistache trees which sometimes have all those colors on one small tree. Oh, and persimmon trees--those are heavenly.

RedLeader--I love that you posted that considering that autumn is a difficult time for you. Take the beast by the horns--then kiss it! =D<3
 
Herbavore, I'm actually taking a trip to Vermont in October, so I will Most definantly take some pictures and share them! <3
 
I love fall in new england ... it really is so beautiful. Reminds me of football in highschool, cold nights in the woods partying with good friends 8-). It's REALLY hard to stay clean in fall , I was talking w RL about this and I am not sure why but for life of me I always end up on a run in october - which is when my bday is.

The days are getting warmer by the minute!
Sort of glad.. Although, I really do love the cold too.
 
i was with my dad the other day driving around and we got in to a small-town down-town area, where there were dozens(maybe only 2 dozen) of elderly people strolling around. this seemed nice enough, until my dad mentioned how they all looked like a bunch of zombies!

My day could be better.
I got called in to work today, having to do the most f'd up tasks.
At least its keeping me busy!
How is the boredom??

sup fellas and ladies , I hope you are all well on TDS ~ today went well for me , was crazy busy but I got so much accomplished in my recovery and my PTSD therapy / meds - also registered for my spring classes , really proud about that. Only a month ago i was in the middle of another run with heroin thinking that it was pointless as I had given up 7 months clean. I now am able to see I just needed more help and with that I cherish the time clean I had and the days I have ahead of me I am using to the best of my abilities. :) Peace and love to you all
