Got checked out yesterday. Had scans done on my chest and heart..
Apart from my racing pulse, its operating normally. No mini heart attacks which is great.
As a result, unless I enjoy the idea of potentially fatal heart attacks, I've been very very very strictly advised NOT to take anything stimulating for a long time :(
Cant believe this has happened...
Could be worse.

You're right, it could be a lot worse. I'm glad it's nothing serious, trip. Take care of you. <3

This is a simple little poem I crafted for a true friend:

Lasting friendship grants a life serene,
A friend of true beauty is fortune unseen.
Like nature unfettered and always tranquil,
For my reunion with you I am dearly grateful.

In this world, passion and love abound,
But the bond we enjoy is not simply found.
The universe, fate, and providence are awed,
For we are a phenomenon they must applaud.

I stumbled, I fell, I languished in dark,
But o, you ignited torches bright by your heart.
Alas pain and anguish racked me to despair,
But truly selfless, for me you were there.

But words are easy, fitful upon the wind-
They shant convey the import of a friend.
But in this faithful endeavor I hope to underscore
My honor and gratitude to you I adore.

If anyone has any pointers or suggestions I would be very grateful.

So basically everyone's rich in Zimbabwe.

I'm kidding I know what inflation is o__O.

I just bought one on ebay <___<. They're so cool.

Yeah, the poverty and inflation there are of epic proportions. These guys are some of Zimbabwe's most well-known musicians and they cannot afford to send their kids to school. When they tour here and in Canada they teach, mbira, marimba, dance and drumming whenever they are not performing and then count on that money to take them through until the next time.

The mbiras are played inside a big gourd and the songs are really, really long--sometimes one song is two hours! Very trancelike. The singing in Shona is gorgeous and every now and then Jacob just breaks into the most amazing bird sounds/whistling I have ever heard.

these probably should be in the picture thread but...whatever!;)
