TDS Social Thread vs. Badfish has stayed up too late

I plan on starting to go down to a venue in Denver where a lot of punk people hang out, my friends have been talking about how it's a great community and a great way to meet new people so I hope to get down there soon and listen to some music and mingle.

Just a quick shoutout, anyone play LoL here? If so, hmu with your summoner name :)

When I was younger I got into a crowd very similar sounding. It was a great opportunity for me to make friends and also play awesome music :-)
I miss gigging.

I leave in the morning for three days at the docks. It's what I do. You know that already from the picture thread. I've got some fun stuff planned for myself. I like my me time. I worked hard, hard, hard Monday to Thursday, and now Thursday is done. My car is packed.

It's fun to get away by myself. Anyone feel the same way?

The Specials FTW Sconnie. British Ska revivalists rather than Ska originals but even so, 1) I'm too young to remember ska first time round so The Specials were really my introduction to it and 2) They're just a great band anyways.

The other night when our very own Badfish was feeling really low and he and I were chatting on FB and I was feeling pretty melancholy myself we got to talking about ska and he linked me to a song and before you know it I was out from under my laptap and dancing around my bed! think about it, a mom in California, devastated after the death of her son befriends a kid from Colorado in a drug forum that he came to after one of his friends scares him with her heroin use. They have never met and possibly never will (doubtful, if I have my say) but these are the tiny little miracles that happen in the world all the time. He got me dancing and hopefully I cheered him up a bit. You gotta love life, guys. Its so busy trying to love you!

Guys the weirdest thing happened last night. I crashed at like 11pm and woke up at 3 convinced that the guy from Saw was standing in my cupboard right in front of my bed about to torture me...and then I'd look properly and be like 'nono he's not really there' (I turned the light on obviously) but then I was sure he was going to come in the door because I hadn't locked it last night. So the logical thing would have been to get up and lock it but I was too scared to get near the door in case he was there.
I was genuinely terrified, didn't move for about two hours just staring at the closet and door, haha. I'm never scared of that kind of stuff, it was really weird...

Okay so that was random and probably not as interesting as I thought but oh well.
