I really prefer the Arthurian deck. I guess b/c the stories match the cards so well and adds such a bigger picture for me to each card.
But The Rider-Waite is always a must. It was my first deck. I still have it, 16-17 yrs later :)

I don't do tarot - bad experience.

I have to travel today and I will be so zonked. I wish I were driving back - I have only carryons but do not want.

Weather is shifting here to being autumn. I remember from other years that winter is n30's favorite season so her heading into summer is not usually a welcome process. A lot of the rest of us are heading towards winter. Everybody ready for the seasons coming up? Part of the reason Aussies and NZers are so screwy is their having Christmas as a summer holiday by the way. ;)

My first Aussie online buddy taught me the word "clacker." LOL

I have a tarot set and my dog chewed one of the cards. I still don't know how to read them, but I've played with them. I tried to find a place to teach me, but all the online sources show so many different ways that I got confused. LOL

Enki- I am SOOOOO ready! It was partly sunny today but the cloudy times were misty and awesome:) Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and foggy, I love it- I might be making beef stew to celebrate :)

Lysis- What kind of deck is it?

May as well have. They predicted a life changing event in the bad way.

I am back (got home last night) and am resting with the laptop and a pizza. No roommates. I have to get a trite sympathy card; surely there is one in this mess?

All in all - so far, so good. And BEST SEATMATES EVAR on the plane - both in their 40s, professional, and they picked me because I am *relatively* thin and looked clean, lol.

My house here is another story. I'm not going to diss someone whose Mother just died, but I'm out of here 2 weeks from Friday and I'm not going to get stuck with this.

Holy crap, it's Claire! Welcome back-- you must have some intense stories to tell.

So, I've been working on my "altar" that I have been saying I'm going to make for like a year now......
Its not even close to done and I want to make it larger, but its started and I already feel good about it :)
I noticed when thinking of what I wanted there that I have unintentional little altar type set ups all over my house. My husband and I tend to put meaningful and spiritually meaningful things together in small clusters (or not so small) in combination with photos of ancestors and earthy things (which we both find sacred). Its like my whole house is like an altar ;) hahaha

Having a designated altar would be a handy focus for all those objects. The significance that they carry may perhaps wind up being focused? Not a bad idea...

o/t: It's fall where I am now; the leaves have turned and are just starting to fall, the air is crisp but the sun is still warm. Cool enough for a great jacket (even for a sweaty mofo like me) but not so cold that it needs to be closed. Perfect running weather. I'm loving it. Until, of course, the leaves all fall, and everything looks dead and rotten until the first proper snowfall. Still, that's not for a couple of weeks yet.

Oh my god, did tobala die? He sent me a lovely message a few months ago, I tried to reply yesterday but his inbox was full. My god.

And hey everybody! Yes, stories galore.
Well good news, my life is back on track, been a year clean now & no plans to return.

Awww hun, yeah tobala passed away just over 3 months ago :(
So sorry you had to find out this way. PM me if you want to talk about it okay? <3

And welcome back sweetheart <3

You are correct! Good memory hehe :)
Spring is okay, but as soon as it gets warmer than say 32C (90F) it's very much unappreciated by me.
