^That was actually the first name I thought it could be. When I zoomed in a bit it looked like it could be Clarissa or something too though.

Note to self: have better handwriting in case something like this happens to me.

I like the way I look when I'm clean.

^You look good for it dude! Keep smiling. :)

Herb, you're probably nearer than anything I'm getting from it. Wasn't even sure if that was an A or an R first letter at first but it's an R. Roon- / Roonis- something maybe but that just can't be right, can't complete a name even starts like that? Damn their handwriting's worse than mine and that's some accomplishment!

OMG! you're back! Hey, buddy:D how are you doing??!! You look happy as can be--that easy kind of happy. That makes me so happy! Doing art? (Note that Tripnotyzm started us our very own art thread in TDS.) <3

@Sepher--I know; I kept coming up with Roo.....something and I can't see that being anywhere near right. Ah well, it's pretty much out of my hands now I guess.

@herbie: Indeed, she's a sensual woman ;)!! It's not a particular special place to me, but a beautiful one nonetheless, in Schwerin/Eastern Germany.

^This picture needs a caption! It's telling a story. good to see you, mal3volent. (Check your PMs--I just sent one).:)

how about "I told you to get away from me with that camera, this is your last chance" ;)

Cool shot Michael, and beautiful bird. I'm not really into birds much except for birds of prey. Where I am many species have been eradicated ( thank you farmers, oh custodians of the countryside you! 8) ) and we're verging on losing other species like the barn owl because of loss of habitat. We have kestrels aplenty, though in fewer numbers than in times past, and there's been a very successful reintroduction of red kites to an area just north of Leeds. There are few sights in life as exhilarating as a red kite soaring on the thermals above you. Truly majestic creatures and fucking huge! Where I used to holiday down Devon there's a few sparrow hawks about and buzzards are still pretty plentiful, used to often watch breeding pairs soar and dance over the bay. Wonderful stuff. One of the best sights ever was the breeding pair of peregrines that return to Malham Cove ( video here which might explain why we call Yorkshire God's Own County! :) ) every year to nest high up on the crag face feeding their chicks. The RSPB keep watch over them in breeding season cos it's a climbing hot spot and generally have a telescope set up the public can watch them through. Magnificent birds. :)

I don't trust birds. I've had a rooster going on ten years and he still chases me.

^roosters are fucking scary! I used to live with one that had it in for all the humans, dogs--everybody! I gave him a wide berth.

Michael, that is such an amazing shot. We have a lot of Red Tails around here but I've never seen one up close. In your photo you feel like you could touch the feathers.

Sepher, that is a beautiful place--the cliffs. Is it far for you to get out of town and out there? Do you actually climb there?

It's about 40 miles Herb but the roads can be slow, an hour and a half maybe by car, not so easy by bus unfortunately. Not been out there as often as I used to. Spent a lot of time there as a kid cos our scout master was from there. Only made it the once these last few years when I dragged G out to do the walk up the side of the crag up on to the tops. She protested all the way. Can be a hard climb up when you've already walked a ways to get to it. 8) LOL

Never climbed it unfortunately. Need some serious gear and serious people to climb with. There's some evil routes on there and limestone's a different kinda climbing to the more usual gritstone we mostly have in Yorkshire / the Pennines. Just watching people going up the main face beneath the overhang can bring on The Fear. Maybe one day.
