Herbavore- not that I can remember, although he probably wished for one. Hell, I even wanted another Boy in the family :) Your brother must have been lonely, how many girls did he have to deal with?

I'll have to dig for the good ones :)

^Hey bud! Good to see you. <3

@Pastel--there were only two of us sisters but we were sort of a unit (1 and 1/2 years apart) and then he came along 5 years later.

@ Spork: Lil Sporky!! That is too cute!Of course you already had your hands full of animals.:)<3

@ Pastel- I love seeing your little tribe. I grew up outdoors like that with my siblings and I made sure my boys did, too--none of this back-to-back lessons and arranged playdates and constant adult intervention that so many kids get as a childhood now. Just give us woods, water and a mom not too far away in case anybody gets hurt and we were self entertaining from end of school day to dinner. Same with my kids. I wanted to have 4 kids but stopped at two because I am a big believer that we have just about sucked this poor planet right out of resources, not to mention that two was already more than we could comfortably support. But I have always believed that kids do best in little herds like yours. After losing Caleb one of the things that makes me saddest is thinking of my older son having to go through life with no siblings at all. He only has two cousins and they are much older and far away. Anyway, your pictures of your past make me very happy and nostalgic.<3

Here is a picture for psychocentric. You get a two-for-one on this one. This is me with TDS' very own hero and my co-moderator extraordinaire, Stardust_hero when we got to meet for realz this summer. (That was a good hug:) and I'm overdue for another one.)

P.S. childhood photo still to come....

EDIT: rules, I am mad jealous of your hair, man. Looking cool. And herby and miss dust, I am jealous of that hug love going down. I could use some of that over here. You two are the sweetest<3

Herbie, I know what you mean about the unit thing, babycircus and I are sort of a package deal as well. We were raised camping quite a bit, and similarly to you, we were pretty self sufficient. Most kids these days don't seem to thrive as well in nature, it seems to be almost a thing of the past. Ialso agree with you on the four kids vs. two kids thing, at the point this planet is at, I almost believe it to be gluttonous for a couple to have more than two, although I do find it somehow more forgivable if the parents can at least provide each child the same opportunity to succeed. If your older son ever needs another sibling, my arms are open. Like I said, I've always wanted another brother :) Also, i absolutely love that photo of you and stardust, I can feel the love all the way over here <3

DMoTruth, thank you, you're pretty cute yourself, and the guitar= +1

MoE, your derp is awesome. Not everybody can do that, you know..

^Life is so amazing. That thing looks like it would be growing underwater in the tropical ocean. Don't make it the last picture of mushrooms--they're incredible and you are our resident naturalist/photographer.

hey, DMoTruth, good to see you here!:)
