^DWE, great picture! You're a fellow Californian.:)

I want pastelcircus to give me portrait lessons! How do you do that cool thing with your face being super light and no detail but your eyes being totally in focus and really sharp. I just love what you do with light and the whole no detail/all detail thing.

Seyer, love the mug! Actually I love both the mug and "the mug".=D

Meet wilson :)

I <3 orange kitties! Wilson is adorable.

I once rescued a baby orange kitten when I was about 8 years old. He was living in a dumpster near my old house and I felt so bad for him. I remember giving him milk and cat treats through a chain link fence. I then found an opening, picked him up, and carried him into my house to ask my mom if we could keep him :D poor little guy was all dirty and mangy. Of course my mom said yes (were huge animal lovers!) and he lives for 22 years! Simba ❤

Oh, Wilson is adorable. :) How old is he?

Well I took that photo a while ago, but he's probably around 4 - 5 months old now.

Haha I have a similar story to yours actually, except I found a mangy little poodle not a kitten. My mum didn't let me keep him though :(

Oh..mygod :3:3:3

The paws.

Lol their cute aren't they.

Herbie, for that picture i set my phone camera white balance to incandescent, turned the flash on, and set the scene to whiteboard. It's the best setting so far for portraits like that because it evens out my complexion, which is no small task. I then used a high contrast filter once and viola, pastel gets pretty ;)

Michael, that photo is fantastic. Did you use any filters to get the grey?

Drinkswithevil, you look like one happy cat!

Then again, so does Wilson...

Kalibas <3 we used to have one. Where was the place you went to Herby? In town, or what?

Pastel, your snake is adorable :3. I love baby reptiles. We have little anoles that run all over the trees outside and their heads are always so round and huge and their bodies are little when they're babies. I also love bearded dragon babies with their big round heads.
