Hey, I was going to say how happy I was to see your name around in another thread you posted in but this here is THE SOCIAL so I'll say it here: YAY!! You're back! How have you been? You look good, Raugh out Roud!=D<3

It's getting there, just trying to mend a 5 month old wound that keeps being ripped opened.

Pip, it was :)

You did it! You are there. The new chapter is beginning.:) Is that a little British Flag sticker rolled up on the desk? Did they pass those out at Orientation?

Yup! :D
Haha yes - I found it on the street after this big parade that was held the other day where the British Olympic athletes rode through the Strand, it was lots of fun.

Theyre a work in progress at the moment. I got the bucket from a friend (no idea where she got it) who was giving me and my mom some old dishes, candle holders, vases etc. I got the cacti seperately and the rocks from Ikea and put them in the bucket. I plan on getting one more cactus and some bigger rocks to keep the bottom of the cacti roots in place as its not completely full with soil (yet). Im working on a "zen" theme in my room, got some canvases of Buddhist statues and a canvas of a temple in a forest on my wall. 3 of the candle holders I got from the friend have chinese lettering on them as well. Gotta find out what they mean.

^ I bought a tiny cactus when my kids were little and I still have it! Since my older son will be 27 soon, I have had it a long time. Transplanting is hard and I am not very zen-like when I do it. In fact I swear a lot and threaten to give it away. But then I think about how long we have been together LOL and put all my special little treasures and rocks back around the base. Tomorrow I will try to get a picture.

Seyer, that's awesome. Any other pictures of the Zen- inspired decor?

Herbie, "transplanting is hard and I am not very Zen like when I do it" literally made me lol. Any photos of houseplants?

We have a Christmas cactus that should seriously be re-planted actually, it's been around for several years as well..

Beautiful. We have pretty similar eyes, color wise, although yours have more green than mine. Mine have shades of dark green around the edges and light brown toward the center.

And, as you wish <3

Thanks guys, but they're much closer to how seyer described his in natural lighting 8)

Seyer, your wall art is fantastic. Grey paint ftw! And is it just me, or do the logistics of the second pictures make the candle holders look colossal?

Regardless, nice choice in decor. Makes me that much more antsy to move out and decorate myself.

Twinsssssss =D

The twin candle holders are 38cm tall (literally 1mm under 15in) and the cubed one is 17cm (8mm under 7in) so in theory they are collosal in comparison haha.

Hell yeah!

Having my morning coffee (from this morning of course)
