Thanks n3o. <3 :)

Panic, that is a great shot.

Got tickets to see Neil Young tomorrow nite, then Friday me and my tent are going to drive into the hills for a few days, sans technology, and get my motherfucking head straight.

nice jf, i saw neil half acoustic half electric, how else?!? along with dinosaur jr, and blind melon, at,,, the frank erwin center. many moons ago, but i will never forget it.

blind melon was mind blowing!
such a shame.

Yeah, I lived in Houston then.... Shannon Hoon died on the road between Houston and Austin; an old associate of mine claimed to have sold him the coke that killed him... who knows? :(

I saw Neil Young when he toured w/ Pearl Jam backing him... must have been '96 or so. Fucking awesome. I'm so pumped! And he's gotta be like 70 years old!

jf, you remind me so much of my ex!! That's a good thing too cos he's handsome, we're still good friends :)

Ummm can I come too please?? My brain kinda broke last night and it needs some serious sorting-out of its own :(

dude, you look way too familiar...
I if you were in the club/rave scene there through 94-03, i wouldn't be that surprised if we shared acquaintances, and some after parties.

the last time i camped out in tx, was with the wifey at enchanted rock.

Hey n3o anytime you need something just let me know and I would be happy to help!! it's the least I could do!!! You helped me more than you know!!

This is Constantine's Basilika in Trier, Germany. It dates from Roman times; Trier was an important Roman city. The colossium and baths are still there too

This is inside another cathedral, St. Peter's IIRC.

And this is through the Plonlein gate in Rothenburg a.d. Tauber. We stayed in an awesome guesthouse that dated from about the 14th century. 40 euro's a night, breakfast included. xD

Inside the Eck Fritz Inn where we stayed for two nights. This building was built in 1570, IIRC. It was so awesome there.... and the experiences are a story in of themselves. I'd go back just to visit this place again.

Me and a riding buddy we just met. We all rode until it was almost suicidal to bomb singletrack in the dark. xD

^^ You always have the best photos Ix!! Nice :)
I LOVE that one of the Plonlein gate, so eerie but so pretty at the same time <3

pip - well, I dunno if you remember, but I lived in Seattle a couple years ago.... I believe you're up the Sound somewhere, IIRC.

Yeah, me and a certain girl used to camp all over Central Texas in like '95-'98; Enchanted Rock, Bandera and Messina Counties (BEAUTIFUL wine country; 17th-century stone Spanish missions still standing!), even out to Big Bend. I was also at just about every Dead show in the Fall/Spring/Summer of '94-'95. I just found out that one of my neighbors was at the last 2 shows, as was I.

The Frank Erwin Center!! The "Dog Food Bowl!" In the summer of 1989, as an (relatively) innocent 17-year old, I was at orientation at the University and got dragged to see "a show" there.... very glad I did. It turned out to be the Butthole Surfers. What was the opening act? A SPEECH BY TIMOTHY FUCKING LEARY!!!!

It's a small world, we very well may have crossed paths. :)

Then again, I have a common face, as n3o has so flatteringly pointed out. :) <3 You know it's gonna be a good day when a beautiful woman on the opposite side of the world has complimented you, and you've only been awake like 20 minutes. ;)

n3o, you would be more than welcome to join me, were we anywhere near each other!!

Well thank you. :D
I'm glad you like them.

Almost every picture has a story behind it, and some of them are pretty far out. If ever anyone wants to know more about the stuff in my shots, just ask. :)

Some new photos.

Haven't posted since TDS photo thread round 4, glad I'm posting again!

I've been living on campus at my college, since July 11th. Clean from dope eighteen days :]] (My school is seven hours from home. The distance has helped substantially in aiding my recovery.) All I really do now is skateboard and play guitar.

jf, ive only been to seattle a few times in 7 or 8 years; seatac; hotels; 1 club; hospitals.

central texas, every where.

only i doubt any memories shared would of been very flattering... hah :\ !

yeah i still bust our with some bhs stuff on my guitar.
sings ~ "tell me a good one and maybe ill cry"

i was at a venue waiting to see gibby haynes dj dnb, but the psychedelics started getting to my friend and i, so we split before he even showed face... oh man...

lol@dog food bowl.

my brother is still in austin, and just(10 minutes ago) sent me a link to the statesmen about something funny, but i dont get it.hah. he will love the dog food bowl, im sure it will draw a laugh inside whenever he sees it now... if it isn't a nick name that caught on, or i forgot!
;)

wine, fredriksburk late harvest cab, oh myyy...

... i doubt ill ever go their again, it would be near impossible with my physical state, but if i do, ill find you, and your little dog too!

I (ingeniously8)) moved from Austin to Minneapolis two days before New Year's. This way, you see, I was able to enjoy the daily 110 degree F heat of the Texas summer, the nonexistent Texas autumn, and the bitterly, savagely, brutally, sadistically, unmerciful Minnesota winter! Brilliant, eh? :D

I'll be in Austin for a while in September.

Jesus. I just realized that by November, I'll have lived in 7 different cities in 4 years... Houston, St. Paul, Seattle, Austin, Minneapolis, Phuket, Bangkok.

I'm a rolling stone.... ;)

Here's me and my "little sister," who's coming up here to visit me in 3 weeks. At SXSW (South by Southwest), 2009:

Neil Young will be on in 3 hours. Solo. God I hope he plays "Mr. Soul."

did you ever see that footage pictures of the buildings in downtown san antonino, sweating... my god thats extreme.

dude, your bones are going to be mad at you later making that migration! hopefully you acclimate some.
my brother is visiting soon, mid august, he will suffer some shock it seems, its fucking 75 f now at 3-pm... there?!? maybe 95...
god when he flies back, and steps out of that air port, boom!
i had forgotten the sensation of feeling like you could chop through the humidity on those summer days.

but hell yeah, camping, lighting that fire and watching the stars pop out... thats a great feeling.
but after a 12 pack, and you wake up at 8:30am and its already in the nineties... there is no hiding! lol

i used to go to a place with a, grade school friend whos probably down4life now :\, and his family, sighs rip. to a place called lill arkansas. that was our paradise!
girls, beer, brauts, a wide shallow river, poison ivey!, bad bands, many hippies (papasomni lol) lots of lime stone cliff over-looks to take girls, beers, and why not the brauts?! to...

west of san marcos i believe...

~~~ lost in thought.
Lol molly I guess we now we know pictures can be decieving, I just found out the other day that Jennifer Love Hewitt is only 5'2, I always thought she looked really tall!
on another note I saw that you said in another post that you live 5 minutes from UCF, I go to UCF and used to live in the Boardwalk apartment complex, then I moved into Pegasus Landing with my boyfriend, and now I am back home for the summer but I'm going back to Orlando in a few weeks. I didn't know you were so close to me!
^^ Jennifer Love Hewitt looks like my mum. They've got exactly the same smile and body/face shape. I'll see if I can find a photo of her :)
Seanjay, good to see you back in here man!! How you been? Nice photos :)
