ocean, I know exactly the kind of insecurity you mean, I recently cut myself a fringe too and I still haven't worn it out yet! I keep pinning it back....
I'm slowly getting used to it in the privacy of home so I'll wear it out in public soon :D

hahaha I went in public yesterday and was like- omg!i'm in public with bangs! hahaha like it is some huge deal- but it is!

REALLY its about whether or not you like it........I know there are people who will look at my bangs and think i look like shit- but I like them now (though I go back and forth) and so it doesn't bother me if someone doesn't like them

Great bangs everyone! PIP-- you should totally keep 'em, if anything for the 'huh, what?' factor.
n3o-- The roots actually look good on you, since they're a complimentary colour to the outer hair. Plus I dig your expression in that photo, it's like: 'I see what you did there, and for fifty bucks I won't tell anyone about it'.
eK-- those are kind of bangs, but need a bit of work. Try growing 'em out for a while first. Great photo overall though, you're both looking good. You actually look a lot like my eldest cousin in that shot.

Piture whoring. I guess I was a lil pleased with myself that I finally put myself together after being a hermit and not leaving my house or getting dressed or well doing anything other than sit and front of the tv for half the week last week....
People are always telling me that I need to smile so...
Certainly not the best pictures of me in the world but I decided that I should at least TRY to put myself together to go see the bf since I hadn't seen him all week. Losing my foundation was kinda a pain in the ass.
