She is a fluffy girl... she's softer than anything I've ever felt, no joke. She's so soft you can barely feel her fur sometimes. Ever rubbed a rabbit's foot? She's way softer than that.

Both of my kitties are sweeter than I could have ever imagined. My wife and I and the kitties spend every night snuggled together in bed... sometimes I use Stripey as a pillow. His first steps when he was a tiny kitten (she is his mother and we were there every day of his life, from the moment he was born) were to walk across the floor, climb up my chest, and nuzzle my face. He's a face-nuzzler and he nuzzles our faces at least several dozen times per day. Sometimes he'll nuzzle and rest his face on my cheek and leave it there, napping eventually.

Magna is amazing. Everyone who meets her immediately gets several impressions: of an egyptian queen and of an ancient motherly figure. She's the smartest cat I've ever met. She'll go get us stuff if we ask for it. She keeps track of all the socks in the house and sometimes she'll come running, making the cutest little urgent meows, carrying a pair of socks in her mouth and drop it at our feet. :D

They're both so wonderful and loving, it's really amazing. We're so lucky that Magna walked in the open front door when she was a pregnant 6-month-old kitty an asked for help. Even then she was such a wise old soul, even barely more than a kitten. My kitties are the best things to have come into my life aside from my wife. The amount of happiness and love we get from them is almost too great to believe.

They're also huge! I am used to their size but whenever I see other peoples' cats I realize how huge mine are. Stripey is so big that when he lays on my chest while I'm laying on my back and stretches out as far as he can, his feet go down to the tops of my knees and his front paws drape over my shoulders (and I'm 6 foot 1). We are pretty sure they're primarily the Ragamuffin breed... Stripey looks influenced by Egyptian Mau (sp?) also.

Right now they're on the guest bed next to the computer, laying in a pile of snuggles. <3 I love my cats so much! :) <3

Here are my kitties... they're my babies. I love them more than I could have possibly imagined. These pics are a bit old though.

I would LOVE to be that comfortable@

^ Your rug looks exactly like the carpet my grandparents have on their lounge room wall. Haha

The second last picture, your cat looks so cuddly.

She is. :) <3 She likes me to rub my face on her and kiss her neck and chin. Actually they both do but it's extra touching when she does (the fluffy one) because we raised her son, the stripey one, from the day he was born, so it makes sense he trusts us enough to put our mouths and faces on his neck. But she walked in as a stray... it feels great to know she's grown to trust us so much. :)

^Nice to see another new face!
We went on a hike today.....took a few pictures- I love the fall and winter but there were a few reminders of why I love spring on our hike..........

A couple random woodland surprises-

Proper hiking attire- (it was super muddy and i had to roll up my jeans-this was also a fashion statement-gotta be stylish for all of the forest dwellers:))by PIP

There was a dirt road that went up a hill at the edge of the woods- my hubby and father in law went all the way up while i hung back and took pictures-A woman rode up on a 4x4 and told them that the bears were out-They had just shooed some off the property- that means into the woods! She also said cougars had been sited in the area..... So then we had to hike all the way back thinking about getting mauled by cougars and bears!!!!!!

Gorgeous kittieees!!!!!
<3 all of them!!
Algie in particular, her colour is just beautiful <3

Oh my god Xorkie, the 4th cloud-pic down, I LOVE mammatus clouds!!! I am a weather fanatic and they are by far my favourite cloud formation <3
Great photos!

And hi October! Great to put a face to the name :)

Ocean-- wonderful photos. I love forests, the older the better. The old rusted truck cab photo is awesome, and is that trillium in the first two? It's not native to where I am, but I've heard that they're just beautiful.

Thank you Dave.
Yes-They are trilliums:)
When I first saw them I thought they were avalanche lilies but no- they are trilliums.
Old growth forests are awesome though I don't think the one I was in yesterday was very old (not young really but in comparison to others here).......
I will have to find some of my Hoh rainforest pictures for you:)

Worked at the resale shop today and got another hours of my probation community service done.

Also, they were having a half-off sale so I bought a bunch of clothes for vacation--2 tube tops, a halter top, capris, shorts, skirt, 2 belts, 2 purses annnnd

a new dress :)

($6.00!!!)

Jam-- I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't said it. Now that's all I see! Kind of like the two people yelling at each other in the Canadian flag.

^ Thanks!

And yeah, resale shops are great.

Most of the stuff at this place is like between $1-4, with a few things (like the dress, which is in GREAT condition, btw) priced higher.

I got all that stuff I mentioned for like $25.

That dress is so cute kc! I love it!
$25?!?! 8o That is a huge bargain for that many clothes!!

I need to go clothes shopping....but not before I lose this extra weight I've put on.
