Me and one of my best friends at his four-day bachelor party, South Padre Island, TX, 2004:

Another old friend and I at a lake in Minneapolis, 2006:

Padre sounds like it would be an awesome place to throw a bachelor party. I missed one of my good friends' b.p. in New Orleans, but am going to another buddy who's having his in New Orleans as well this May.

Can't freakin wait and hopefully I'll have pictures.

n3o-- lovely wedding pics. Both you and the bride looked great. Did you end up recording your song? I'd be curious to hear what your singing voice is like.

JF-- your friend looks pretty far gone there. Must have been some good times.

Thanks Dave! Yeah we did get a recording of it actually, but it's pretty shit quality. But I'll send you the link anyway if you like. PM me if you're interested!
That goes for anyone else who's interested, PM me and I may or may not send you the link (depending on how well I know you and how ballsy I am feeling at the time hahaha =D)

nope, not really.
i want a mate to get married so i can soak up the other side of the wedding atmosphere.

Well when Mick and I get married we'll invite you =D
Seriously.

I'll tell you now though, it won't be a traditional chapel/big reception/white dress/bridal waltz wedding, that's for damn sure! :D

as i said in TPH, looking beautiful dude:) i want in if eK's getting an invite for you and mick:D we'll be the drunk ones;)

trancegirle - you're gorgeous :) you have a beautiful smile like so many other BLers

n3o, you look beautiful..... coincidentally, my girlfriend was just modelling her dress from her cancelled wedding (last year) literally minutes ago.

Dave, yes we were all rather gone those few days... no matter how much Vicodin and vodka and whatever else we were consuming, not one of us had the courage to make the 20-minute drive to Mexico..... this was when the border was getting really rough, and nothing ruins a 4-day bachelor party debauch like an unexpected murder and shallow-grave burial. :\

That photo was actually taken literally moments before I convinced my soon-to-be-married friend that dropping acid and swimming naked in the Gulf of Mexico was something he HAD to experience.

According to him, I was right. Once you overcome the fear of sharks nibbling at you from below, it's all good. :)

wow. agreed... i dont want mine to be that way either, its going to be tonnes different and non-cultural/traditional haha

so when eK and i get married your ALL invited haha.
he will probably shit his pants at this post and freak out... haha never to worry we're still both WAY to young =D

ps. hi everyone havnt been on here in AGES

I love tradition but when it comes to weddings I think the big wedding is overrated- and too expensive......some of these women who want 100 000 dollar weddings are insane- Buy a house, invest the money! hahah
We went to the justice of the peace- were married outside in the courtyard- ate at a brewery with our family in a town a few hours from where we lived.......spent most of our money on the cottage for the honeymoon:)
Oh- but my one suggestion would be- wear white.
My father was furious I wasn't going to wear white and said i would regret it-
I don't regret it but when i see white wedding dresses i always think maybe I should have worn white......

^^ What colour did you wear??
I think I'd still wear white but certainly wouldn't be against wearing a different colour.
I imagine Mick and I getting married at a winery in the Hunter Valley but those kind of wedding are always expensive (I've checked out prices already hehe ;))

um.
I wore black :D hahahahaha
I'm so goth.
(sarcasm)
It was a pretty dress though.
I had to pay for all of my wedding myself so- I couldn't afford an expensive dress and fell in love with this one so went with black. My mother flipped out and my mother in law was awesome and said she'd wear black with me so my mom would get off my back:) hahahaa
we were the regular addams family wedding.

That's great! Black's one of my favourite colours and I'm not goth haha.
My parents both freaked out a bit about my sister's dress having black in it, and then also about us bridesmaids wearing black. Pfft, doesn't matter in this day and age....

No- it shouldn't matter.
But to my parents it was huge! (which is weird b/c they're 'new age'......but republicans;))
I think my mom actually stormed out of the store.....
BUT the important part was the wedding and it was the most incredible feeling in the world to say and hear our vows- what i was wearing and how much it all cost all seems of very little importance....

I cannot remember if this is a repost, but I recently reconciled with two friends after quite some time of not talking (they were hurt by my addiction) so I wanted to celebrate :)
