spork, I love Azrael!!! She is absolutely gorgeous!! <3 I LOVE black kitties. We need one :)

ocean, I've said this before but Fuzzy Buttons reminds me SO MUCH of our first kitty Buttons:

I reckon she would have grown to look a LOT more like Fuzz if she'd lived longer.

Buttons was such an hilarious kitty! She was found in a garbage bin when she was only 5 days old, and we raised her ourselves, so she really was our baby. She had a really firey streak because generally speaking, human-raised cats don't have that "healthy fear" of humans, so they're a bit crazy! And she was indeed crazy :D
She'd chase her tail, catch it and BITE it, then growl at the pain and then do it again!
She played fetch with the earplugs Mick got from his work. She was OBSESSED with those earplugs haha. We'd find them stashed in our bed :D
She was a little piglet when it came to food, again totally OBSESSED!
For some reason she didn't have a good bond with me (even though I raised her??) and she LOVED Mick. Total daddy's girl =D
But towards the end, she was really getting quite close to me. The morning before she died, I woke up and she was sitting next to my head purring really loudly <3 (she'd never done that before!)

R.I.P Buttons, our crazy little kitty <3 :(

Our Fuzzy Buttons has always been a mama's girl but since January she has a new found love for Papa- Pip says in day she's a Papa's girl and at night a mama's........she gives him dirty looks when I'm going to sleep and he comes in to kiss us goodnight. It is hilarious. She's like saying 'I'M CUDDLING HERE! GO AWAY!" hahaha
 
Aw, I love your cats PIP/ocean :)

My Magnolia is our little Egyptian queen... she's very stately and royal, but she carries it very well, no haughtiness or superiority. Just a quiet assertion that she's the most in control in the room. :)

Stripey is our little baby boy... the eternal kitten. He's a bit of a brat but a really sweet and loving one. He whines a lot but it's very endearing.

Both of them love to snuggle and are entirely trusting of us (I regularly use them as pillows and rub my face all over their tummies and faces). Stripey will climb on my chest and nuzzle against my face and fall asleep with his cheek resting on mine. <3 He has what we call "nuzzles of destruction"... he's really big and when he gets excited he nuzzles everything in sight and starts knocking shit off tables and breaking things. :D Several times he has nuzzled my face so hard I got a fat/split lip. He loves to have you bend down and nuzzle him on the head/cheek.

The first time we ever saw him, he was being born (Magnolia is his mom). He was one of 11 kittens (yes, 11), and his stripes were visible through the placenta. My wife took one look at him and said "this is going to be ours, this little stripey one". His first steps were to see me come into the room to meet him for the first time. He ran across the room all shakey, climbed up me, onto my chest, and nuzzled my cheek. And I fell in love. :) I've been nuzzling him his whole life and he's grown to love to nuzzle people and snuggle.

I'm getting choked up just thinking about how much I love my kitties. They're probably the most amazing occurrence to have happened in my life, really they make everything complete with my wife and I. They're so perfect for us in every way. They're our babies and they help us to have such a happy and loving family. :) <3

Oh, here comes Magnolia, to be a precious little lap kitty. <3

Everytime I read how you talk about your kitties it makes me happy:)
Our girls are like our babies too.......They are our world really:)
We talk to them like children and they talk back- they are a definite part of our family.

I was feeling a little guilty b/c Little Bitty has so many pictures on here- I looked for a couple of Fuzzy Buttons to post.....I know I Have more that are super cute but I found these quickly.....here they are:)
This is Buttons in the lid of an antique trunk my mother in law gave me- I keep all of my family photos in it and when I was going through it, Buttons wanted to be a part of it-


This is Buttons at the back door when I was taking pictures on the porch while Pip was working on the roof.......
 
Aw... she has very similar stripes as Stripey, and also the same white muzzle and gold undercoat. I've not really seen too many (actually just Stripey and Fuzzy Buttons) that have that particular coloring. It's very beautiful. :)

She reminds me of a cross between Stripey and Magna (Magnolia), with the longer face fur. How soft is she? Magna is incrediblt soft and plush. Like snuggling with a cloud!
 
I don't have pictures at the moment but I will eventually probably. I miss my old dog Chelsea, I gew up with that dog from 2 til 16 or so, and I miss that girl so bad :( I now have a very large golden retriever that's named Comet after the dog on Full House (little brother named him). Anyway I love dogs and always will have one if possible.

Our Buttons was only 18 months old, she was hit by a car :( :( :(
Such a tragedy :(

The one think I am PETRIFIED of.
I seriously have this irrational fear of rats- I am sure to everyone else they are just so cute but to me they are after nibbling my feet off.......
I am not meaning to be at all rude to your little mouse- I was just very shocked when I saw the rat.
