Aw I didn't know that about the oils

. I sure hope he's not allergic. He's always said he's allergic to cats but then we moved in with a roommate who owned a cat and he wasn't allergic to that one. We asssumed he's allergic to come cats and not others. If that's the case I hope he's not allergic to the one I bring home!
I was thinking about putting the kitten in a crate (the kitten will be 8 weeks old when we are able to take her home in a month) I have a huge crate made for a st bernard so I'd put his litter and food in there and just let him chill in there in our room with the dogs on the outside for a week and then crate the dogs while I let him explore. Since my boyfriend isn't really thrilled with the idea of a cat I told him we'd keep him outside unless he isn't allergic and leave him outside at night to hunt and hopefully he'd sleep during the day and by the time I got home from work I could bring him inside for a few hours to cuddle.
I bought a 5'x4' metal shed to put outside the house and I bought
this to put inside it. That's where I'll keep his food too. I'm going to install a doggy door on it. But we're hopefully going to keep him inside the crate for the first week then take another week of letting him explore and then hopefully the two species will be okay with eachother. When he's outside for his first couple months I think I'm going to take this spare 8'x8' chain link fence that we have folded up behind our shed and set it up with the kitty shed and put a tarp or something over the top to keep him from escaping so he can get used to where he lives and gets fed before I give him free roam. I don't want my kitty to run away D
My dogs are pretty even tempered with the exception of my oldest female but she still listens if I sound serious enough. They are small also (Papillons) so hopefully the kitten won't be too intimidated by them. I have a 13lb female, a 10lb male and a 5 month old puppy. The puppy and the male are going to be fine but I'm not sure about the female. My boyfriend recently got a rabbit and the other two ignore the boring rabbit but our female cannot ignore it she is constantly trying to attack it. Hopefully a kitten seems like less of a prey animal than a rabbit. They hiss at dogs, right?
We have a puppy who's 5 months and she's so lovable I think she might be the first to bond with the kitten. My boyfriend got a new rabbit and the puppy loves to gently lick inside his ears and clean his face. The other 2 stare at the rabbit like wolves.
But here are pictures of the entire litter:
I think I want either the first or 2nd one. I haven't decided yet!
