Oh dear...one of my bunnies has developed a cigarette habit!!
I got up the other morning and went out to the sunroom where Toffee bunny lives to have a cigarette.I was pretty sure I had 5 left, but there were only 3 in the pack.I looked around and found 2 filters on the floor with the rest neatly bitten off.I thought surely he hasn't EATEN them?! I got my answer when he jumped up next to me on the lounge and grabbed a cig out of the packet lightening fast and ran off with it.I chased him and wrestled half of it out of his mouth while he munched the rest!!! I rang the vet and told them, and they said he should be fine as long as he doesn't make a habit of it (no pun intended). So now we have to put the pack and the ashtray up high where he can't reach. And put the empty packs in the bin straight away as he has stolen an empty pack too and stashed it in his bed.
I feel like a really bad bunny mummy, yet at the same time can't help being amused at how crazy the situation is!
