MissNervosa, WOW! You have a wonderful menagerie. One of our bunnies, the iconic Herbert, just had to be euthanized and we are all still in mourning. I have posted his photo before but I will post it again now in tribute. He was a character and brought so much joy to our family. He and his pal Mr. Jeeves were particularly bonded with my husband who took such good care of them after my son died (they were his bunnies). Herby was so mellow. He used to sit in this little raised log cabin that Brian built for him outside like a giant white Buddha. My husband buried his body in the deepest part of the tunnel Herby used to excavate every day. He put a picture of Caleb in and a picture of our family and one of Mr. Jeeves. Then he put in some cilantro and a grape (two of Herby's favorite treats.) Rituals help. R.I.P. Herby.




and here are two dogs that aren't mine but I got to swim and float with them at my Aunt's house on the lake. They are Charleston and Savannah, a couple of goldens shaved down like labs for the summer. They get on these floats and just happily float around in the water when there are people in the water. I especially love Charleston because I always have a soft spot for big doofus dogs!=D

It sounds like you've made a lovely memorial for him.Also check out www.bunspace.com where you can make a memorial profile for him.

Charleston and Savannah are so cute,and what great names! My parents have always have Labs and Golden Retrievers,and they've always loved the water,and often joined us for an afternoon swim in the pool in summer.They are awesome family dogs :)
 
Herby <3 he was a scomff king in that picture. I can picture him being a buddah rabbit on top of his house. And big doofus dogs <3.

Spork, that pic of Azrael is adorable. Finding comfort in the oddest position as only a cat can do!

RIP Herbert :( He looks like a very stately and dignified bunny.

This is my little man, now sadly deceased. Sniper - because he used to bite. He was spunky; a solid little character.

I used to own this Pekingnese puppy for a few months before I gave it to my grandma. Rage.

Haha, he is!! Even down to the light coloured cheek patches. Does Jeeves change colour? Snipe used to change colour with the seasons as he got his winter coat and lost it for summer, from that lighter colour on his cheeks to the darker colour on his nose. Jeeves is a spunky guy ;)

And Herby, the pic of Charleston didn't load when I was last in this thread, but he is gorgeous! I just love that expression on his face as he's kickin' back and floating along %)

I'm looking after a couple of cats atm and they're just lovely. They have such distinct personalities and are so affectionate. Both of them take turns sitting on my lap while I'm working at the computer, it's too cute <3

I have to admit I had my favourite at the beginning. It's amazing how perceptive cats are. The other could definitely sense this, but since I've made a real effort to get to know the naughty little girl she's become so much better behaved and loving. I love cats and have worked with them, but never lived with them before, so I've been fascinated to see just how much they can pick up and understand about situations.

My dog always beats me in who can be mad at who the longest. She always does. That's why she doesn't listen to anything I say D:.

I just got mad at her for biting our new foster dog and then she got mad at me and wouldn't talk to me. So I decided to also not talk to her and also be mad. But she can always beat me at staying mad the longest so I had to apologize :(.

My argument is always invalid with Belle:
