From my experiences you meet some of the best people at clubs/raves. I met the person who put me onto Bluelight at a club and I owe him HUGE time (you know who you are and thank you very very much
). Usually when i meet people for the first time i don't really know what to say cos i don't knwo what common bond, if any we have. Meeting people at clubs is alot easier cos most people are there for the tunes and the atmosphere and starting convos is ALOT easier. Usually i Just go up to the person and introduce myself and start chatting from there. A guy i know from around said to me, "Ravers (clubbers) are the best people" and i completely agree with him, i have 2 stories to share
(Sorry if im babbling alot)
Story 1
When sunnyside up came to perth my mates bailed at 2:30 becos their pills didnt come on and i was peaking very very hard. Earlier that night I'd an English guy and he introduced me to all his crew and stuff which was really really cool. When my friends wanted to bail I was going to bail as well but he said to stay with him and his friends and i had one of the bestest nights of my life and it wouldnt have happened if i hadnt met this guy, one of the main reasons i had such an amazing night was becos of the great people i met at sunnyside.
Story 2
I was at rolando at zanadu and i was peaking very very hard (again) i could barely stand and the "waves" of pleasure just kept hitting me. I was sitting on the floor at zanadu and this dude comes up and sits down next to me, he nods at me and i nod at him and shuffle over. We start chatting and I find out he's in need of a little man, having a spare windmill which i KNew i wouldnt be needing, i offered to help him out. Well, after rolando we met up and now we're good friends
I guess my point is the strangers I've met at clubs/raves sometimes turn into your really good friends.
Peace
