Thanks for being concerned about my friend. I was going back many years to the time when I lived in England. Pills there were very cheap and it wasn't hard to find them for 2 pounds (AU$5) each. It's not surprising that people took so many. For a lot of people it was considered normal practice to take at least five on a night out. These people are still alive and seem healthy, married with children, and no longer take ecstasy. I guess it's hard to say whether they have suffered any permanent organ damage - I doubt it. But as a medical professional for over twelve years I know that their drinking and smoking habits will have had a terrible effect on their bodies. Smoking is just plain stupid.

I relate to that. In the uk it is just as cheap if not cheaper than drinking. So it was very common place to buy and take multiple pills in a night ie 5+ it is nothing unusual. But tollerance is a bitch
 
Once you do 3 PMA pills at once, you'll never do pills (or anything else) ever again :\

Just HAD to reply cos i did almost EXACTLY the same thing (Butterfly waited 30mins, Russian waited 15mins, Butterfly...) and had almost the EXACT reaction

but my logic tells me that dropping 3pills at once would be worse for your body, than dropping 3pills spaced over a night (6-8hrs).
 
a few factors to determine if you can get away with triple dropping:

$$ - if u can afford it, then sure waste ur money :) in my oppinion, even if its gonna cost u shitloads to get off chops i would still much rather do this than just get pissed or get heavy into wiz/ice etc etc..

tolerance - if double dropping isnt doing as much for u as half/single dropping is for your friends than chances are that triple dropping will be just as safe as single dropping is, just be sure that this isnt a " yeh this will get me FUCKED UP!!! " type thing because if double dropping still gets u fuked than triple dropping might just tip u over the top. wont u feel like a dick when you explain why ur in hospital =D

reputation - when u start taking pills like skittles it can really change the way people think about u. they often confuse the whole " man i need pills or im gonna die!! " approach with " man this is fuked i cant even get off chops without at least double dropping but i dont wanna drink :( " approach.


my advice.. if u can afford it, and ur confident of ur tolerance, do it.. just keep in mind its gonna fast forward the decline in effects u recieve from pills and its gonna burn a hole in ur wallet. dont brag about how many u dropped.. at the time it might seem like a cool thing to tell everyone but trust me, anyone worth knowing will not look at this as a good thing. good luck!

Witch Doctor I'm sorry to have to disagree with you but, the way I understand it, taking 3 pills spread through the night is worse for your brain than taking 3 pills together.

you'll learn that MDx nerve toxicity is caused by the uptake and subsequent decomposition of dopamine to hydrogen peroxide by serotonergic nerve axons. The serotonergic reuptake transporters have a higher affinity for dopamine than for serotonin. Spreading pills out through the night only serves to free more and more of your relatively unlimited dopamine supply after the depletion of your limited supply of serotonin. It is the dopamine that causes the damage. From the point of view of neurotoxicity it is best to triple-drop - this way at least your dopamine levels will be on their way down when your serotonin is gone.

In either case you would be well encouraged to take a dose of Prozac as you come down. The serotonin re-uptake transporters have a higher affinity for Prozac then even dopamine, and the Prozac prevents the dopamine from entering the cells and damaging them. We did not always use Prozac, but there was a clear and significant improvement when we did.

but what about your liver and such organs? isnt it save to assume that by doubling dosage your liver is doubling its workload?

i dont really know much about how the brain works, and was mainly refering to strain on organs like your liver.

I don't know. Maybe we could think about alcohol. If you drink a double shot of spirits your liver doesn't work twice as hard as if you drink a single shot. Your liver metabolises ethanol at the same rate regardless of the concentration in your blood (approx. 10ml per hour). So it just works twice as long. Only chronic drinking causes liver disease.

Acute MDMA toxicity (of the type that kills people) is a result of hyperthermia (your body being too hot) causing excessive haemorrhaging (of the type you normally have going on in your blood vessels all the time, but which get plugged by your platelets) and a subsequent thrombocytopenia (low platelet concentration) and inability to plug the leaks. Basically you overheat and bleed to death into yourself.

But though overheating can be disastrous, with an estimated LD50 of 6g MDMA is not particularly chemically toxic by mass if you keep cool. To give yourself a 50% chance of dying from actual chemical toxicity (liver failure) you'd need to take 60 good ecstasy pills at the same time.

2 and a half playstations would this be allright?

Ok well i just got my hands on some yummy playtations(so ive heard) Normally i double drop pills but im wondering if maybee 2.5 would be allright? from double dropping i find i get just under where i wanna be from the "zone" but 3 good qaulity pills will make me top fucked and ill end up in MDMA dreamland. Last time i double dropped was 2 red russians and that got me near the zone but not in it, has anybody had the playstations and russians and tell me the difference in intencity because then if the playstations are more intence ill stick with 2 thanks guys and gals
 
Man it's impossible to tell, I wouldn't even be double dropping. god knows what else goes into those pills... but theres no way of determining the strength of these pills or whats in them so i'd be careful!
 
If you have tested the pills and are comfortable that they don't contain PMA you could reason like this.

If the worst pills contain around 50mg of MDMA and the best pills contain around 120mg, in the past your double-dropping may have equated to anywhere between 100mg and 240mg.

Taking 2.5 will equate to anywhere from 125mg to 300mg, so you may end up taking half your normal dose, or three times your normal dose.

Can you find out from someone how strong the pills are? It would give you a better idea of which end of the range you are dealing with.

Having said that, 300mg is not so much if you have a tolerance.

Yer ive tested them they are mdma and rate about a 9 on pillreports, the russians also rated a 9 on pillreports but they were more of a mda mdma based pill. I think 2.5 should be fine the chick i was with used to drop pills in canada and she got them for $4 a pill but ive heard the pills just have more filler and less mdma in them and thinking 3 will get her fucked up but for me sometimes 2 isnt enough. I just wanted info on anyone who has had these i know they are pretty much all over Melbourne now same as the russians were so if anybody has taken both post and give me some advice.

yea i can vouch for that. last time i was at an event and bumped into a mate who i havent seen for a while pretty much the first thing he said to me is MAN I HAD 10 PILLS ON NYE..... and i thought what a wanker and i use to think he was a pretty decent bloke

Needless to say, I dont really associate with that side of my friends anymore.



I've never doubled before, though one day I am keen to give it a go. Though I would probably want to waste it and just do it at home or at a small party just in case it was too much.

Its one of those things that I know I will do one day, but I'd rather wait as long as possible.

A lot of party go-ers these days seem to place their trust into where they get their sources from these days, no testing and dropping as many as they please on a friday/saturday night :\
