    Welcome Guest!

Taken over 40,000 pills...

I believe it, on the whole. People taking MDMA daily, it's not the first time.

I can easily believe "For the first 2 years, he took 5 tablets every weekend, escalating to an average daily use of 3.5 tablets for the next 3 years". I know people who functioned quite well and held down proper jobs while regularly doing 16 or so pills/weekend. So 3.5/day (maybe 25/week) doesn't sound impossible, even over the long term.

But "further escalation to an average of 25 tablets daily over the next 4 years."?

25 tablets per day, every day, for four years? As someone said - how did he eat? How did he sleep? I find it difficult to believe that he could continue functioning as a human being with that sort of intake.

Of course, given that his memory was badly impaired, it's possible that he over-estimated his usage.

i think the real question is how the F**K did he afford that much... work.. and taking that many pills daily? wtf?

25 pills in the uk a day is not that much cost wise for a drug habbit, I bet he was buying bulk....so prolly like 3 bucks a pill or less.

roughly 50p a pill in bulk in the uk, why do you think there are so many e-heads in britain? ;) i didn't read it properly but he must of had some sort of mental disorder after eating all them jubs????

dam i thought i was an etard. ive experienced those acute symptoms for 2 months after i got outta rehab. i was using ever day as well. for a long peroid of time.

i knew a guy that was going through about 14 a day at one stage. We asked him about eating and he said that after a couple of days you realised you had to eat so he would just do it. He only lasted for like 8 months of daily use though, ended up with almost full time halucinations, twitches and other problems

I think it's important for those reading here to understand that it doesn't take
DAILY abuse to get to this point. Weekly Biweekly and even monthly use can bring you down with massive depression memory loss etc. I and a partner have experienced this with weekly use for 18 months then biweekly use for 12 months and now monthly use for just one year. The "recovery period" in between these "binges" was 2years, 1 year and as of yet undetermined. It seems the "recovery" takes longer even with less usage. Maybe attributable to age or worse maybe attributable to a "lifetime usage" pattern.

maybe he was consuming amphetamine pills, i know one guy who starts his day with half amohetamine pill, eats breakfast, whole pill during lunch time, another one in the evening. That's pretty rough u can say, but for some ppl pills don't affect normal daily activitys, well u get what u deserve in the end anyway.

here is first hand account by a fellow Bluelighter (xtc-couple) about his friend who took 5 pills a day for 3 months straight.

what xtc-couple has to say is incredible and a lesson for everyone who abuses Ecstasy.

that post is really sad. eye-opening though. in my opinion something that anyone who is starting to abuse pills to much has to read.

you'd think the effects of the drug were to the point of "undesirable" after consuming that many pills in his first 2 years but letting his habit get to the point of 25 pills a day is outrageous. why would anyone let themselves be tortured like that? surely you don't experience any positive effects when your tolerance is that high.

i'm truly amazed at the stupidity of some people.

Fuck me, that is insane!. I wonder if he'll ever "fix"? It's an interesting study if he does!

are you kidding? the guy i knew said he had to take a few just to get to normal, then he liked the slight rise through the rest of the day that more pills gave him, he couldnt live without it. And if you've got an easy supply, eg a drug dealer, then it would be easy for your usage to get that high.
I assume its kind of like a heroin addict, you have to have at least some to be normal

^^ the withdrawals wouldb e terrible. I doubt there'd be much serotonin left to release, but at least the reuptake inhibiting effect of MDMA would serve to prolong serotonin in the synapse. You might as well just switch to an SSRI by that point, at least its not neurotoxic.
