biggerbear; after state of origin nights little ending (staying up all night drinking and others) I've never been in such a 48 hour blurr.


but im on holidays for 1 month so I will be making it each tuesday...

its very easy for people who livein the area to say its not a trek...and for people who once lived their so they like going.... but when the ferries stop running at 11:45 for me it requires 3-4 buses...and for Velocidex a taxi
 
^^^ Pippin totally agree with you, but unless you suggest another option we have nothing to go by.
You obviously live a fair way away, so its always going to be difficult for you. We can't cater for everyone. This whole night originally started purely because at one stage there were an awfull lot of BLers who lived in and around the Newtown area. It was just a social outing for us. Now its become an all SYD BLers thing with an open invite.

Give a suggestion for a venue thats better for you, and i'm sure we'll all get our boots on and trek over. :) Oh and say HI to your boy for me. ;)

I say leave it in newtown or if were going to change it change it to somewhere In the city thats central.

I agree with DJC were not going to cater for everyone that comes, I still have to travel a fair way as well
 
Another vote to keep it in Newtown...

I may be there this week although I can't really handle the thought of alcohol right now. I wouldn't get there till 9ish though so I'm not sure if it's worth it.
 
nah i dont think ill be coming even though i'd like to. I'll speak to Velocidex, though.

p.s. i was purposefully not proposing anywhere coz i was hoping someone knew somewhere appropriate...coz i dont.

i dont really mind if it stays there :) it was just a suggestion.
 
Hrmmm..... I got fucking trashed last night so I dont really know what I will be up for tonight. I suppose I will still swing by the bank and see whats happening.
