Sydney rave scene, where'd it go?

No, they're those fucking punks that walk around in striped polo shirts and short shorts, with caps on and white shoes. It's an unmistakable look.
They generally think they're hardcore and like to pick fights and look tough.

my friends went to this, i missed it cuase i was overseas, any events like this coming up again soon?

A few of my old raving buddies went to Utopia last weekend...kinda made me wish I had gone, to relive the good ol' days.

But those days are gone...

I really wonder if I'd enjoy it though.

Only one way to find out so I doubt I will :D
 
A bunch of my friends went to Utopia, this is after going to Godspeed which was meant to be "one last time" but they loved it again so much they are getting back into it, I think I might just end up attending Prophecy as I neglected the last two. I wonder if any of the old crowd from 2004-6 are still hitting it and are yet to move on with their lives.
 
The whole thought of Utopia just makes me cringe.

I love my trance, but there is nothing worse then a bunch of young Kandy kids running around like it's their 1st time out of their baby cot.

On the other hand, I went to Trance Energy the other week, it was, by far the best event I have gone to... Was so impressed with ID&T, the whole production was awesome :D

There was Channel 90210 underneath the M4 in Granville a few months back and I have to say it was the most epic rave I have been to. It just felt so spontaneous, alive and wild.

It was the best warehouse party I've been to but it was held outdoors hehe.
 
I go to the raves, i guess you could call me a young Kandy kid haha. A young education kandy kid that it. Although, I don't seem to enjoy rolling as much as everyone else seems too, I've found myself doing psychedelics instead, just because I don't have to worry about the dogs and I usually will only need 1-2 doses, unlike the shit pills in Sydney where I have to have at least 3 to keep me going for the night.

I've only been to a few now, Unity, Godspeed and the recent Utopia on the 18th of April.

Whats the best way of picking a rave that will be good?
