Sydney rave scene, where'd it go?

So they don't call them raves and now they've stopped calling them warehouse parties. I suppose the new term is 'Facebook Party'?
 
Haha, they brought in a helicopter. I smiled and waved at it as it shone its searchlight into my eyes, looks insanely pretty, those red n blue lights....

Was on the staircase when the massive like, line of cops rushed the place, they were all holdin onto the persons aheads belt n grabbing every1 n shovin em, i found it comical, reminded me of a catapiller.

Actually wasnt planning to aye, had a couple pills, and then i realised just before the cops stormed the place i had a 4 tabs on me, so im like, fck this, ate em all cause i thought they mite search ppl etc.

DEFQON 1 on Bondi Beach!!!! I am dying for this event, I missed out on Q-Dance so this will be THE rave of the year.

I was watching the news report on that thing in Camperdown and all I could think of was bluelighters
 
I dnt think many bluelighters went from the sound of it. The crowd was pretty epic, good vibe, there were afew lads tho etc.

I found it comical when a group of 5 lads walk in n start goin PILLS PILLS, GET UR PILLS HERE.
 
No I didnt think bluelighters where there, just more like .... ahhh yeah forget it

Most of the old Sydney Bluelighters have retired from parties. I didn't see any either, but I'm not terribly familiar with many people who joined in the last year.

Hey I wonder if the global Bluelight meetup will end up like this?

I dunno, i found that pretty funny. Its when they started throwing bottles etc that they pissed me off. I didnt ever see them start fights with ppl who wernt lads either.

I dunno, alot of lads are dickheads, but there are also a ton who are good ppl, i think its just when they get in a group and all egg eachother on problems start.
 
What an epic weekend.

Can't wait for the next "facebook" party, c u guys there.

I was at that party. I even got my photo in the Daily Telegraph. There's me and a bunch of other smiling faces and the caption "Police confront an angry crowd.."

Hilarious! :D

And infuriating at the same time :(
 
So noones going to Defqon? What about Transmission? I got a ticket bought for me today free of charge, lovely friends I have. $113 I was told it was, im gonna have to do something awesome for this guy.
 
How do you get that, Just turn up after everyones in and hope for the best? If was a girft from above(and my friend) getting this free ticket, what a fuckin sick cunt.
