I had a really good time last gathering and so I suggest the Thanh Binh authentic Vietnamese restaurant on North King St, Newtown - Saturday October 28 - 7:30pm. 5 mins walk from McDonaldtown Station.

The food is fresh, original, exotic, and tastes out of this world. The tables are big and round like in a chinese restaurant so everyone's involved in the conversation.

de Groots best restaurant guide says...

"One of the best and most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Newtown, this cheap and cheerful eatery has a menu of over 70 delicious dishes. Try the DIY rice-paper rolls and the sizzling lemongrass pork ribs."

Best of all there is a cheap liquor store right across the road!
