Well, we just got back to Brisbane, i'm feeling fluey, but it's a lot warmer up here (22 degrees).

What a fantastic weekend...

Firstly, Joannie_MHM and P1, once again, a wonderful time spent with you, thank you so much for you hospitality. Back away, not today *shakes fist* =D

As for the Saturday night meet up, MazDan it was great to finally meet you, you are such a warm and friendly guy. Lostpunk, you're just a pussy-cat in real life (but don't worry, i won't tell anyone ;)) Seriously though, i really enjoyed the chats we had, and you were very gracious with Kat, CB & I discussing how much we love meat! CB, it was great to finally meet both you and your partner, keep up with the "uh huh haaaa" - and don't forget the head-wobble ;). I meant it when i said that next time we're down, we should have another dinner. Toni thought you guys were tops as well. :) John & Kim, my first international bluelighters ;) Again, tops to meet you, and i'm really sorry about Sunday, next time we're down, we'll hit the Belgian Beer Cafe and perhaps some absinthe for supper. L2R and wifey: Yay for finally meeting you, and i can't wait to get together again next time we're down, I knew we'd get along (despite our little tete a tetes ;)). Kat and UAN: You girls are seriously mistresses and i'm SO glad to have finally met you both. Next time we're down (which will be soon) we're going to hit the town again... and we'll take that photo excursion, Kat. UAN, hope the arm is ok now =D Anyone that can save a drink like that is AOK in my books.

To everyone collectively: Thank you for making us feel so welcome, what a top bunch of people, both the Mr and I are so glad to have met you all! :D

Toni says a big hi to everyone too, and she looks forward to catching up with everyone again.
 
I'll just reiterate the general sentiment, I had a a great time and it was awesome to meet you all. Next time I'll make sure I'm not doing something afterwards.

Mazdan you're pretty fuckin' funny, you don't have to worry about having to hang around your boring generation, I'm keen anytime.

UAN, you were just as much a drunkard (and I don't mean that in a bad way :)) as I expected and look forward to getting smashed with you sometime. And we'll definitely have to talk books sometime too.

CB, a lot of fun to hang out with, as was your significant other. Proud to serve time on the council with you. A gavel may be needed in the future.

L2R, you seemed very together and intelligent. Don't take your arm off with your sword!

Both Samadhis, you are very genuine people and a delight to chat to. It's a pity you guys live so far away but we will meet again. I had no idea how involved you guys are in bluelight and harm minimisation in general, keep up the good work. Mrs, the meat thing was pretty tame considering I predominately hang around white heterosexual males. Feel free to post any pictures involving me, I'm not fussed. Mr Samadhi, some day we'll take on all the black suited, hurried, obnoxious fuckers in the world, maybe lock them in their brief cases or something.

And Kat, once again it was fun. I was reminded on Sunday that on Friday night I ate a five dollar note folded up with a rubber band (pointy, my poor intestines) which thankfully has since passed (although I spent all Sunday afternoon slightly worried about it). So if I can do that, damnit you can rail raw sugar :)

Probably not. But it was pretty funny to literally flush money down the toilet.

I remember trying to throw it up on Friday night after my friend's girlfriend who is studying medicine at UNI started rattling off a myriad of complications it could cause. But I obviously didn't succeed.

Damn you alcohol, you'll be the death of me yet.

^^ It wasn't even a stack. You just decided to have a relax on the stairs. =D Even the random girls that were sitting on the stairs were totally impressed! :D

Nice one on the back away, not today call at work! I'm totally going to use it at the workshop i'm attending. I'll report back tomorrow with the results.
 
oh craps i missed it

sorry guys um i got drunk and stuff and cant remember the weekend. I do remember buying loads of kitchen utensils in Ashfield on Saturday. That's about it
