I'm surprised that it is a problem for doctors to write a script for a post-op patient.... My reason being that when I had my appendix removed, they wanted me discharged the next morning ~10 hrs after surgery.... They couldn't discharge me unless I could get out of bed on my own, which I couldn't... So they gave me shots of morphine until I could get up and out of bed... And a 2 week script for vicodins...

So I am surprised because it seems that since they are forced to discharge people early that are still in pain, that a narcotic script would be given.

This would count as a legitamit case. Did you get the 10/325 vics? If not that sucks.

I think they were 5's.... This was the beginning of my opiate adventures... They were pink, which I have only seen as 5's since then. Having an incision in your core section hurts alot when doing any type of movement.

I had insurance, so it wasn't like the hospital was kicking me out for not having $$$$.

Also, the surgery was on valentines day, and my friend was having a party where me and my girl at the time were gonna be staying overnight.... It fucked up that plan, although she did get into the hospital at night to visit, but obviously my dick wouldn't even move...

I had an arm more or less cut off (and sewed back on) and got 30 hydro. 20 10's and 10 7.5's. Having track marks probably didn't help.

i "overdosed" on temazepam and i dont think they administered flumazenil, i cant remember 3 days after that night beofre i ate the temaze. Seems like they dont give you shit for anything unless its ridiculous or you ask. One doctor would not (legitimately, i has adhd) write me any amphetamine, only methylphenidate, i had to wait 3 months, and see a psych to get mah pills.
