Most people with a terminal illness don't want to use their meds to get high, its probably low down their list of priorities.

If I had a terminal illness id like something to finish me off. When my grandfarther died about 25 30 years ago he was in hospital with cancer and it got to the point where he was on the verge of death. The doctor used a double dose of Morphine, apperently this was more common back in the day?
 
yeah if it were me i would swallow 20g of mdma and watch the pretty colours fly past. if your gonna go out it might as well be on a magic carpet with a bellyfull of X :P

That sounds like an absolutly horrible way to go lol I dunno if your heart would have time to rip itself in half before you stroked out or not =p

Probably pentobarbital or something similar ( oldschool downers, afaik the traditional suicide drug is pentobarb ). My inner drug addict wants one if i knew the dose, just seperate the powder into normal sedating doses.

Had a friend that worked at a vet where they kept vials of pento. He wanted to kill himself so he stole some and drank it. Apparently enough to knock off Fido, but not enough for a People, he woke up in the hospital.


And to the above posts about being terminal. Don't give up becuase a lab coat said to. First thing I would do is drop $ on a pound of the best bud I could find, then turn it all into oil and start eating! High Times had a mind blowing article about a guy up in Canada who's been giving hash oil to all types of cancer paitents / diabetics / lukemia sufferers, you name it, and the people have been getting better. I hate to break to anyone but who cares? I mean really?

There is about a thousand and 1 ways to kill yourself with random household techniques. If these pills didn't exist, all they need to do is swallow a few ozs of rock salt (potassium chloride) and bye bye heart.
I guess people presenting it as a "gift" is what really urks most, but theres been times in my life when I may have actually enjoyed a gift like that.

Point being, I have no say in what others do with their lives, as long as it doesn't effect mine. If you want a suicide package, great. If you wanna hump a dead monkey, even better.

Just keep that crap from me is all I ask..

It's a manual with "options" on how to do it. Though pentobarbital is preferred, it isn't exactly easy to get. A lot of people go with the death bag method. They even make a tent for two! So you and your s/o can do it together!

I think it's a great idea for the terminally ill, those who are living with pain and want it to stop finally.

opiates are good for chronic pain, they help to relieve it and comfort those who take it who have pain, but it only blocks it for a short while, so they always live with some sort of breakthrough pain, have to be on it forever, become dependent on the drug, etc.

a suicide pill would be useful because it is hard to say which suicide method would really work. Many attempt but are not successful and come out worse than before the attempt. A pill guaranteed to kill the user would be a godsend for those looking for a way out but scared of complications or not actually dying.

I am mixed on the implications of having these around... what if pets or children ate these, it would be banned in a heartbeat. Like someone else said they are probably only administered in a hospital setting or to someone on their deathbed.
 
If someone wants to buy a product designed for suicide then so be it. Though having toxins heavily concentrated in pill form could easily be used maliciously. But hey, guns are legal too ;).

That's what I was thinking! if I wanted too kill myself i'm pretty fucking sure I wouldn't need to track down some pill ;)

Car fumes (Carbon Monoxide) apparently put you into a gentle sleep that you never awake from. Or of coarse Opiates, the poppy seeds from around my area are so damn strong you could OD on under a Kg.
