I dont know if this best fits into trip reports, but I figure it is way too trip reportish for Other Drugs. Please move though if necessary.
None of the following events actually happend.
Bupe/Subutex circa 2mg snorted (between 1.5 mg and 3mg)
Wow.
This stuff is almost too strong for anyone without a tolerance. I had let my tolerance slip back to zero before hitting this stuff (circumstances) and it blew me away. I knew it was both strong and long lasting, but I noticed a few other things that I will touch on below.
Within minutes after snorting the stuff I began to feel the all too familiar opiate buzz. I began talking more, pacing around the room, normal stimulated opiate feelings. Around the 45 minute mark it seemed to be peaking so I snorted a little more.
At about the 60-90 minute mark it starts really getting good. I now lay down and enjoy the heavy head and eyes that are now unavoidable. This was the first nod I had caught in a long long time and it was very good.
Now I know how heroin addicts can kick on this stuff, it felt VERY VERY similar to heroin. It didn't have a rush like snorted heroin, however the strong buzz and nod were very very similar. I have enjoyed a large number of opiates from hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxycodone, to methadone, etc, and none has rivaled or given me a feeling that resembled heroin. I wish I could better word what exactly that difference is, but as a general statement, it was extremely similar to a heroin buzz.
About 3-4 hours after the initial dosing it starts to pick up again, and along with it comes large amounts of nausea (again, similar to when I have done too much H). Projectile vomiting ensues, although as with heroin vomiting, doesnt really bother me one bit.
While the initial dosing was mid-afternoon, the buzz follows me well, which resulted in more nodding while watching tv at midnight.
Also, subutex lingers. It kept me completely out of it and mildly buzzed for the following two days. I found this actually rather annoying because my opiate use is (I am trying) to be recreational, not a way of life and the continued buzz made reading and focusing on daily activities very difficult.
In summary, subutex feels strikingly similar to h. Although I would almost not recommend it for recreation because it will make those non-opiod tolerant very sick and lasts so long. If I didnt love opiates as much as I do, this experience probably would have led me to never use opiates again. If you have done too much, be prepared to be sick for a long time. On that note, this stuff is extremely strong too. I would compare my 2mg dose to doing a whole bag of h with no tolerance. Subutex would provide a cheap and great high for someone with a moderate opiate tolerance, but it is really too much for anyone looking for fun along the 20mg hydrocodone level.
