I have a big tramadol habit (500-600mg per day, and yes, I am aware of the seizure risk - but in 2 years it's never happened once) and I decided to try Suboxone, a mate gave me a bunch of 2mg/0.5mgs and 8mg/2mgs. The following trip report may be dangerous and you should NEVER try and replicate it. Doses that are ok for some people may prove fatal for others.
The first thing I should point out with buprenorphine is that you should NEVER dose any buprenorphine with being in mild to moderate withdrawal already, otherwise the bupe will instigate precipitated withdrawal. Bupe has a much higher affinity for mu-opioid receptors than any full agonist and will knock you into withdrawal very badly unless you're already there. I'm sure most of you already know this, but I just wanted to be sure.
Ok, so here's my first trip report!

Inserted 2mg/0.5mg Suboxone® tablet under tongue. Taste = Foul! Very bitter. Currently in mild withdrawal, 18 hours since last tramadol dose.

Inserted 2 x 2mg Suboxone® tablets under tongue in an attempt to titrate dose effectively. Bringing up total dose to 6mg of Buprenorphine and 1.5mg of Naloxone. Tasted absolutely horrid but dissolved relatively quickly - around 5 minutes. Definitely feeling a lot of relief from WDs now so I imagine in another hour I'll be feeling pretty nice

Very mild nausea, noted good mood, can definitely feel opioid effects. Not as pronounced as full agonist but very relieving from WDs all the same. Headache, probably due to the naloxone but tolerable with paracetamol/ibuprofen at the moment.

Almost 2 hours now after first dosage. Withdrawal symptoms are almost totally absent. Effects do seem to have stabilised now.

Dosed another 2mg. Total 8mg now. (Big mistake ... this was too much)

Very very stimulating effects! Opioid effects very pronounced but no nod, feel like I want to go and run 100 miles! Legs very jittery, definitely slightly overdosed here 8mg is too much.

Effects still as strong as before, very very stimulating! Like no opioid I've ever used before. Took 2 x 7.5mg zopiclone to try and calm things down.

Feeling more relaxed now, the zopiclone has somewhat countered the stimulant effects and I'm going to lie down and nod now.
Next morning:
Hangover from the bupe (not the zopiclone, take it very regularly with no problems next day), won't be doing it again. Not an enjoyable high for me but great in small doses for keeping wds at bay.
