Bupe Suboxone/Buprenorphine FAQ & Megathread v3; 2010 - 2022

wow that's fucked up. I'd never heard about that, but a year after I kicked 1 year of 100 mg meth/day, I got my blood taken in for some tests to go to some other rehab, and they found that I did have a slight decrease in my testosterone levels that were avg. Not enough to have to take testosterone rplacement treatment thankfully, but still it was kind of weird since I was a 22 year old male at the time.

Bupe AND methadone can give me dope dick, but it's been such a long time since i've gotten laid that I can't remember if i'm still blessed with one of the greatest gifts that the poppy has to offer, or if , after months of stimulant abuse my dick has just turned into another organ with a vein that I can shoot into (just kidding, that's mad FUCKED UP, so fucked up I had to post it publically)
 
Hey there im on 2mg subutex and the ingrediants in it has citric acid and i have been snorting these and still get a good buzz of them but i wondering if they contain talc can anyone help me out here
 
You can look up the inactive ingredients in the Inactive Ingredients A to Z thread, which you can find in the OD directory (linked in my signature). Just because Suboxone doesn't have talc doesn't mean it is entirely safe to IV, as a micron filter is necessary to make it safer.

Methadone represses your endogenous teatosterone level, moreso than heroin.

Buprenorphine doesn't have the same effect though.
 
I find that when I snort around 4 mg of suboxone that I have to wait up to 4 days to get high off another opiate.but when taken under tounge I only have to wait around 36 hrs.Has anybody had any experience with any of this?
 
/\I would think if you are taking the same dosages nasally as orally then nasally its lasting longer because you absorb more sub into your system, and the half life gets extended. Makes sense to me. But as far as specific numbers for each people will be different depending on activity, genes and so forth.
 
I've been trying to get stable on buprenorphine for the past 3-4 months without success. I was on around 30-40mg Morphine IV which equates to around 2-3 mg bupe, however im now on around 6 mg a day and still could do with a bit more. Its as if my opiate receptors are never satisfied and need a constant opie supply to keep em pacified -I want out of this hell - any got any thoughts of what may be happening/similar experiences?
 
Really?, now do you know if that would increase or decrease the blockade effects of the suboxone?? Also do you just divide up the dust?? since half the pill is already 4 mg.
 
^Lower doses have less of the blocking effect. Most of us that have used bupe for long periods of time find the sweet spot (nasally) to be around 1mg, and less for quite a few actually. What I used to do personally was crush around 2mg at a time and break that up into 2-4 even piles. When I was tapering, I could easily split that into 8 piles or more, just to give you an idea of how strong bupe truly is. Before Suboxone/ Subutex came out, bupe was dosed in 0.2mg increments.

thanks.Another question.does the lower doses give you the same "high" (babble on and on for me) as the higher doses? and if so then does all the higher doses do is increases the blockade effects

I need direction and guidance from you. I don't know if some of the people on here do not like newbies, don't like me, or are just kidding around..... and I need clarification. If they don't like newbies, well..... I ain't THAT new. If they don't like me? Well, fuck'em. If they're kidding around and wanna match wits? Well, I'm their gal! LOL!


To stay on topic, I am the proud hoarder of over 60, 8mg Suboxone. Doc thinks I'm down to 4mgs a day when in reality, I can make one, 8mg pill last anywhere from a week to ten days. So, I'm down to 1mg or less a day.


I found a Roxicet when I was cleaning the house last week and I was like, "Well, lookie here!" And I put it in with my stash of Percocets and Roxicets that I have found since I've been on Suboxone (it'll be a year in October). I think I have something like 30 of each. I just wanna know how I missed those fuckers when I was DYING for one during the throes of my addiction, God dammit! I turned the house upside down so many times looking for a pill when I was running out and never could find a single one. Now that I'm on Suboxone, they're popping up left and right. Those bastards don't even tempt me anymore..... even in my darkest hours.


I will never take oxycodone again unless I legitimately need it. And by legitimate I mean if my arm gets caught in a meat grinder or something equally painful. Hell, I used to get a paper cut and pop a Percocet or ten, lol!


How's everyone else doing with their Bupe? Has anyone tried to somehow breakdown the strips and snort them?
 
I'm quittin my suboxone soon....while when i run out, which will be soon. I've been taking .25-.35mg a day for about a week now. How low would you guys suggest I go before i jump off? last time i tried to come off 1 milligram and it was hell...should be much better this time
 
@purple Libra. You can snort the strips by dissolving in a spoon filled with a little bit of warm water stir till the strip dissolves then iether put it in a nasal sprayer or dip your finger in it and gently pull it into your sinus cavity.

Most people say the effects are better from lower doses. I agree, though you may find different.

You could also snort the liquid straight outta the spoon with part of a straw.

(In general...)
Lower dosages tend to be more stimulating, higher dosages tend to be more sedating.
 
HELP!!!! hypothetically speaking: I am on 3 mg of suboxone (maintenance, been two weeks) (going up gradually, my nausea has been very severe so I prob. won't be going over 4mg).. I will be on this for at least a year (I am an opiate addict)
since I am on such a low dose... will I get high if I use oxys after 24hrs of taking my last suboxone dose??? I want to use just once more before starting school in Sept... yea i know prob a bad idea (hypothetically).. but I'm not posting here to be chastised... also... after I use... how long do I have to wait before taking my dose of suboxone????
 
I chewed about a fourth of suboxone film not too long ago and damn! I woke up still on the stuff! No opiate tolerance makes this stuff hit me like a truck, I can only imagine the hell that would ensue if I took the whole strip.

Good stuff. Going to be using quite a bit this winter when I hibernate. :)
