Actually that's along the lines of what I was saying.
I find it great that there are multiple points of view being brought up.
Having multiple points of view helps encourage discussion & allows for more knowledge to be spread in the long run.
So I just wanted to say thanks for continuing to do so.
You can't have a proper discussion if it's all one sided.
I'm glad to see how well this thread & other discussions are going as of late.

Your right....multiple points of view are extremely important because everyones different and one opinion(or piece of advice thats unique to certain types of people) can be very helpfull to alot of people, but not most people. But as long as it still provides advice to help some people, its worth it. And the same goes for another piece of "unique" advice, and another, and another, etc...
The more well rounded our conversations are, the better our website is because we will be able to offer opinions and advice to so many different people with so many different unique problems and issues that need advice and guidance. Its important to show proof, like a link to a health study or lab info on a certain drug, etc...to back up your opinion, but its also important for people to show certain experiences that they have had.

yeah for the first couple years on it.. it has slowly gone away over a 4 year period of being on it although i do still get it sometimes, but it's nothing a Fleet glycerin suppository can't fix lol. Shit.. those glycerin suppositories will have you shooting crap bullets out your ass if you hold in the shit when it tries to push it out and then you finally let loose and they shoot outta your ass and almost crack your toilet on impact.

my dose is 1~2mg/day

Bupe is giving me the worst constipation I've ever had in the ten or so years I've been using. Only time I can remember having constipation this bad was when I was consuming dried pods by chewing them up and washing the pod mash down with orange, lemon or grapfruit juice. This was many years ago, but even then, I could have sworn I wasn't this constipated.

Currently at 4mg per day with suboxone. Bowel movements had slowed down to once a week and would have probably been longer but I started taking a heavy regimine of stool softoners, fiber and lots of prune juice and water. Now I'm going once every two to three days but it still isn't an easy feet and actually going requires concentration and planning on my part.

with just a high fiber diet and a low dose i can go everyday, however if i am on a high dose, thats just a wish.............

yeah man, worst I've ever had from any opiate.
Every time I shit, when I wipe it's like 80% blood. Sorry for the gory image, but yeah.
You guys think this is just "fissures" or whatever doctors call cuts in your ass?
I know I don't have a blockage cuz I go every 2-3 days and the blood isn't black or anything, and I'm not dead yet from septic shock (this has been going on for like 2 weeks or so)
so... any advice? Aside from going to the doctor (I have an appointment in a few days)

Also, anymore opinions on the depression I mentioned in my earlier post?

I've had the same thing from Sub. It's almost definitely a fissure or tear, IMO. I'm not a Dr though so you might want to get it looked at (which I'm sure would be fun 8)).

^ i had one and it used to feel like i was literally shitting a brick.. i got it "looked at" by a doctor (he stuck his finger in my ass) and said it was an anal fissure and to start taking docusate sodium (stool softener) daily and *avoid* high fiber as fiber adds bulk to your shit making it even wider and make it tear the fissure even more. but everyone on here swears by fiber when they are having trouble shitting.. yes it will make you need to go, but it will make the process of going harder.
sometimes mine re-rips open when i wait too long between shits and i get blood all on the TP and in the toilet and shit.. when it first happened years ago when i was on OC i thought i was going to die it scared me so much lol.

^Yeah, you're definitely not supposed to take fiber when you're already stopped up like that from opiates or whatever. Like you said, it adds weight, which usually helps but is the opposite of what you want to happen with opiate constipation.

For example if i get it wet somehow (carelessly placing the tablet in a puddle on my counter) will the active ingredients break down in any way? i've been soooo sick the last 4 days, thinking it was the flu, not realizing i could have messed up the sub, rendering it ineffective and thus have been dealing with w/ds. Could something so stupid have happened? Everyone has their theory about what happens when...... but i'm having a hard time getting facts.

I've just read the previous page and I apologise for any disturbance to this thread that I have caused. I was genuinely trying to help a buddy out with my statements and not be derogative in any way.

I'm also on Subutex, and have been for 4 years. I hear some people jump at 4mg, and I know that is one hell of a feat to accomplish. I've tried jumping at 3.2mg, and it was impossible for me. One day, I'd like to get off Subutex, but right now I'm in too much pain with my gut to even consider it. Fix my gut, and I'll quit Subutex right there and then.

I am not on Subutex for pain management, that is a side effect, I'm a former heroin user which is the reason why I take Subutex. I've been clean for 3-4 years (I forget how long exactly), its been a long journey. Going back on heroin would be hitting rock bottom for me. I hated my life on that drug. Being on Subutex isn't much different! But, at least I get Subutex for free, instead of paying through the nose for illegal narcotics.

Plus, it is LEGAL. That is why I take Subutex, I'm sick of being a criminal always looking over my shoulder during a heroin drop. The stress was immense, and now, I feel a lot better being on Subutex.

Like I said, I was trying to be realistic. I've read in this thread alone how people have struggled jumping off 1mg doses. And I've known other Subutex users from the pharmacy I collect at who state jumping at 1mg is impossible. But, like I said, that is the majority opinion. Some people jump at 4mg. Something I really don't understand. Why go thru all that punishment when it can be avoided?

Yeah, as the Cap'n said, bupe is water soluble and so the part of the pill that soaked in the water likely had the bupe carried away in the water...

i had a 6 month or so 100-200mg/day oxy habit snorted, will suboxone still be able to get me high?

and if im on day 7 of withdrawal from that habit should i still try and get on bupe? Like i really just want it to satisfy my cravings which are BADDDDDD.
