Just wanted to drop in for a minute & let any interested parties know I'm feeling much better today.
The PWD had subsided by about an hour & a half.
I ended up using 1mg of bupe over the course of the day rather than getting dope.
Though as I stated I'm still very curious as to how the hell it could have happened?!
I doubt I will find an answer though as it would appear to be an anomaly considering the circumstances.
About to dose another .5mg today as my back is killing me (have back pain problems normally).
However, I don't feel much in the way of w/d symptoms besides bone aches.
Which is quite odd as normally I don't experience bone ache's until I'm in severe w/d.
Regardless bupe is an odd one & as such I'm willing to accept bone aches if it covers the rest of my w/d symptoms.
At this point I'm figuring bupe is my best bet for getting through the holidays & such without the up's & down's & such associated with full agonists.
However, I would love to find a way to deal with the feeling of being "orange" that I get from bupe.
What I mean by "orange" is this indescribable nausea that I get whenever I take sub's.
It's completely different than full agonist nausea (which I rarely experience) or the nausea of being sick from w/d or sick from say the flu.
I basically feel what seems to be a nasty lemon-lime feeling throughout my body accompanied by said nausea.
I realize I'm doing a terrible job describing it but as I said it seems indescribable.

I use my sub's intra-nasally as that seems to help a bit with the nausea as opposed to sublingual.
I'm wondering if it's perhaps the povidone, as I've experienced nausea from other substances containing povidone.
I've tried promethazine & hydroxyzine to counteract said nausea.
The hydroxyzine was the more helpful of the 2, however my supplies are extremely limited on the hydroxyzine as opposed to the promethazine.
I should be able to acquire more hydroxyzine but am not sure on the time frame on this.
I also use cannabis to help combat the nausea.
Besides the methods I've listed does anyone have any suggestions as to how to treat this nausea?
Another point of contention I'm having with sub's is that they seem to mess with my vision quite badly.
It's almost as though everything is slightly blurry or hazy.
I do not experience this effect on full agonist's & as such find it somewhat curious.
Also quite annoying!

Any tips on dealing with it? I'm hoping it subsides after a few days of getting used to the sub switch.
I plan on getting kratom to use as either an adjucant to the sub or for coming off the sub's or both.
Speaking of kratom, let me point chrismaccius to this thread.
The Kratom Thread
Continuing onwards I'm luckily so far not experiencing much in the way of constipation though I usually do with sub's.
I'm attributing this to the use of Docusate Sodium which I recently added to my regimen.
I usually dose the Ducosate approximately every 3 days.
To those that struggle with opiate induced constipation I highly recommend trying this.
Anyways once again I'd like to say thanks to the thread & BL for permitting my ramblings.
I'm finding this thread to be a good outlet with the stress of the holidays & being opiate dependent.
I hate having to try to balance pain management with everything else but we all do what we must.
Luckily in the coming new year with insurance kicking in I'm hoping I can get proper medical treatment.
I'd love to stop this constant scramble that I'm sure some others can identify with.
Regardless I wish the best of luck to others in the thread with there struggles.
I'm guessing I'll check back in here at some point in the relatively near future for my own piece of mind & to help any others that I can.
I hope everyone is doing there best in dealing with & enjoying the forthcoming holidays.
I just noticed that captain.h beat me to the punch on the kratom answer but the above link still may be useful to you chris.
