From your collective experience what does being on a suboxone maintenance program due to your opiate tolerance?

For example, if I took subs for two months, tapered down and then stopped, where would my opiate tolerance be in relation to when I started sub therapy? Thanks

^ depends on the dose.. if it's equal to a higher amount of your DOC than your tolerance will rise, if it's lower than your DOC dose it will drop.. that's the easiest i can explain it.

^^Yeah Dex ,H is "decriminalized" in this country ,at least possession ,well,even dealing to a certain extent...say,if I'm caught with 5 g of H I can always claim it's got fukk all to do with dealing and it's for my own use exclusively and nothing will happen(well,given you haven't already got any drug dealing related charges),they'll just let you go your own way with the gear and that's about the size of it.As for quitting Subutex altogether I'll be honest with you ,I dread the day I consciously decide to do those last mgs of Bupre thus all those pharms/drugs I've been stashing up,I'm just not used to live opiate-free,my last attempts at quitting cold turkey were simply the worst nightmare one can think of,after a few months I'd still be feeling terrible ,post acute withdrawl symptoms they call it I think ,I call it living Hell ,"living" not being the right word for the way I was feeling.At this stage I have no alternative but to quit though,it's either that or no treatment for Heps C and in my mind it's pretty clear which of the two I must choose.

Why dont you just wean yourself off and use a shit load of benzos/tranquilizers to get over teh PAWS? I know it's easier said than done, but it obviously has to be in your case anyways, which you already know. I bet some benzos along with something like somas to relax the muscles and even some cannabis to aid in painkilling, would help immensly...though I think you already mentioned this. -good luck bro. Hey guys, I regularly take about 40 mgs OC a day, i haven't taken a suboxone ever and got some today, what would be a good dose for me and what would be a good dose for my buddy who has 0 tolerance.
Yes I have read the mega thread but was hoping captain heroin could assist me. The Pills are 8 mgs i took two already and feel great, however my pupils are the same size and no itch?

Lastly, you mentioned you "took" 2 already. How did you take them (sublingual, snorted).

Despite what Ive stated above, I will try to answer your questions.
First off, as for your friend, DO NOT GIVE HIM MORE THEN 1mg (I would suggest .5mg). Trust me, if someone has no tolerance, even 2mg (or less) will easily have them puking for 2 days. Your friend would not likely fatally OD if he took this much, but it is VERY easy for someone with no tolerance to end up sick for days from tiny doses of suboxone. So again, if he must try it, give him half of a mg (either snorted or sublingual) and see where he is at after 2-3 hours.

As for you, there is no point in doing anymore, you have already gotten as high as you are going to get. You are new to suboxone and must understand that because its a partial agonist, its very different from other opiods. You really dont get any "higher" once you get to the doses where u are at. You have already taken 16mg, if you took more you would probably just get drowsy and perhaps nauseous. I know its tempting to take more, but trust me that there is NO point-you will not get any higher. Good luck-DG

EDIT: Yea I just saw what the guy above me wrote and want to also make sure that you realize that you dont swallow these things like a pill (they dont work if you do that). You need to either keep them under your tongue for about 15 minutes, or crush them up and snort.

You obviously already have opiate tolerance so bupe isn't going to get you high. Your friend on the other hand will probably be good with .5mg-1mg. Don't let him take more or he will probably get sick.
And for the future, you should be posting threads like this in the mega thread, not wasting space by making a new one.

16mg is a lot for someone without a tolerance, I would stick to one or two pills if you are aiming for a high dose.

I also regularly go through the mega thread, and the Other Drugs forum, so I'm going to merge this into the mega thread.

Oh, 2mg, not 2 pills.

2mg is an ideal amount for someone with no tolerance, that's how much I take now when I take it sublingually.

You might buzz harder later, but no, you won't OD, and you won't feel awful unless you really don't like puking.

Suboxone Potentiation

Hi Capt. I posted about a month ago asking you if you knew anything about when would be the best time to take St Johns Wort so i could potentiate my suboxone. I was taking between 16 and 12mgs a day. Well i took your advice and cut my daily dose down to 2mg twice a day. I brought some SJW and have been experimenting for the last 3 weeks. The first time i tried it i took 550mg SJW at the same time as shooting my subs. Didn't notice any change from my usual routine. The next time i took 550mg SJW 45 mins before shooting 2mg of suboxone. Within 5 minutes of IVing i got a powerful rush, just the same as when doing H. About 30 mins after the initial rush i sat nodding for about an hour. After 12 hours i did another 2mg. No rush this time, just a 30 minute nod.
I did exactly the same the next day, except this time 45 mins before taking my 12 hour top up. I did another 550mg SJW. As soon as i shot up i got the strong rush again. Your advice cutting down my dose really helped i think.

Ive also had an extra benefit. I suffer with chronic arthritis in my right foot due to a break about 5 years ago, and i also have a torn ligament in my right knee. Im currently waiting for an operation to fix it. The doctor has been prescribing me 20mg Diclofenac x3 a day. After a month of taking them they seemed to stop working. The only thing they were doing was making me sweat profusely and burn my stomach. Also because i am on suboxone he wouldn't prescribe me anything for the pain, because he said there was nothing that i would be able to take in conjunction with the subs. In the end the only slight relief i got was from taking high doses of Ibuprofen. That was until i began using Suboxone with St Johns Wort. For the first time in almost 4 years i feel a degree of normality. It definitely works. Sorry for going on a bit lol. Just wanted to share my findings with everyone here on the forums.

Try not taking as much, or using an antihistamine to reduce the stimulation.

I can hardly contain myself and don't know what I'm going to do with it all. This could last me ages of use at a ridiculous frequency so I am going to have to have some real self control not to get spun out and binge.

I am getting 1g 2c-e, 1g 2c-d, 250mg 2c-t-2, 50g of 4-MMC, 500mg of 5-meo-DMT, and 2g of JWH-018. I might cream my pants when I have the package in my hands.

I mention this here because I am so excited and I think if I found RCs I would have never gotten hooked on heroin where I would spend what I just did in a week to support my habit and this could last me a few years at a regular pace. I know having it all at once is rough and I could blow through it in a few months but that would be insane and I don't even know if it would be possible without psychosis or worse. Basically to all you struggling addicts- inest in the psychedelic world. It honestly has done worlds for my recovery. The drone could get out of hand and I don't recommend, but grab half a gram of 2c-x and you will wonder why you ever stuck with dope or are still struggling. The experiences I have had just from 2c-c which is considered weak have been beyond imagination.

The 5-meo-DMT will be the best of what you're getting IMO, it's the only drug I would use you're getting. I've already had my time with the 2c's, and I'm skeptical of 4-mmc and the JWH series. If you like 4-mmc and all that stuff then congrats man!

I'm very excited to try a 4 sub. -dmt drug and will have to post a TR (and hopefully an IV MDA TR that's been long overdue) soon. %)
