^ Use liquid measurement. Make a solution that is X mg suboxone in Y mL water/alcohol. Then you can dose in a very low and accurate way with a pipette or a syringe.
I still do not understand this... please be VERY specific (I can be dumb at times...lol)

True, though you did ramble on a bit.

I try to keep it under 4mg a day, usually hit 1.5mg - 3mg on the average.

I'm trying to wean to 2mg, then 1mg, then 0.5mg, but am not in a rush to do so.
I am... someone help me!!! I have to be completely off suboxone by Jan 2nd.....

My doc kind of mocked me, like the dickhole that he is, saying I shouldn't even of had trouble getting off of 1mg/day.. as I sat there in his office vomiting in his garbage can. the results.
You know... from what I've learned on this board, suboxone doesn't seem any easier to come off of than heroin, pills or methadone... that's why I got on it; I thought the WDs would be easier... apparently I was mistaken. :\

^and he probably didn't taper down low enough either, overall full mu agonist withdrawals i.e. heroin are more severe in intensity and last shorter. buprenorphine's withdrawal is not that intense, yet lasts forever.

I was at a 1mg/day when I "ran out" of suboxone. I had an appointment, but drove in during a snow storm to find out they closed for the day. It was a few days before I could make another appointment. They really don't give a shit about my sobriety. When I went in, I was in low-moderate withdrawal. I get nauseous easily. So, the vomiting may have been relative to me only. I've also been on suboxone for about a year, though.

oh ok... well thanks for the clarification; you're right though, docs don't give a shit about us "junkies", they've never been there and have limited to zero compassion for us when we are in WD...

Many people go on a 10 day suboxone treatment just to get through a heavy opiate addiction. Then they come off the sub, which is much easier. I'd imagine that if you take sub for a month, it'll be just as hard to kick as any opiate.

Having rls all over your body is so horrible.. One time when i was in high school i took a bad mixture of pills and it gave me extreme rls all over.. More like a mini seizure. Heroin withdrawlcomes with that too. There is actually an rls medicine that works very well and i bet it would sooth withdrawls well. I will look into the name, in the meantime, just google rls.

How can you not understand this? If you know how to do simple math, then it's the easiest thing in the world.

Say for example your dose is 1mg of Suboxone. Dissolve 8mg in 1mL of alcohol/water. After doing that, every .125mL is going to equal 1mg. Place .125mL under your tongue. Voila.

You can use different measurements of water/alcohol. Just take how many mL's of water/alcohol you are using and divide it by the number of mg's of Suboxone you dissolved in it to figure out how many mL's it will take to equal 1mg.

x = mL's of water/alcohol. y = mg's of Suboxone. x/y = 1mg. Simple.

With that, say for example your dose is 4mg instead of 1mg. You are going to take .125mL and multiply by 4, so you'd get .5mL. 8mg is 1mL. 6mg is .75mL. 16mg is 2mL, and so on and so on.

And please stop double and triple posting.

Thank you.

And I didn't realize that I was... my computer sucks so sometimes it doesn't show that the post showed up, so I post again... :\

yeah, i waited and it did get better. my doc put me on prozac like 2 weeks ago. i think it's diminishing the effects of H, not coke though. i switched cause celexa was completely killing the effects of my drugs. i keep using SSRIs cause my doc won't give me benzos without me taking a SSRI. i hoped that prozac wouldn't do this, but i guess it's doing it.

Is it possible to go from a 200mg habit of OC to Suboxone for a quick 10 day detox and feel "well enough" at the end to function? If so, what are the dosage recommendations considering there are only 10 8N suboxone pills?
I see so many people on it for months or even years then have to deal with the sub W/Ds that, from what I read, can last a long time...
Understandable everyones addictions/needs/cravings/withdrawals are different.

I have heard that it is... I was on 250mg of oxycodone and wish I had done that... but now I have to deal with the WDs cause I've been on the suboxone for over 2 months now... :\

^ You have to withdrawal no matter what. There is no "get out of withdrawal free card." It doesn't matter if you don't take any suboxone at all, or take it for one day, two days, a week, or a year... you have to withdrawal at some point.
