Exactly the reason I didn't buy them :D The Adidas stripes are not as prominent as the photo shows and the look completely black until the light catches them in a certain way.
 
Would like to see what the driving ones looked like, I cant imagine the technology of a sole would make it that much easier to step down on a pedal .

Bought these the other day, not entirley sure If I like them anymore, felt like I was being rushed just wanted to get some new shoes pronto. I like burgundy,

£100 for the Scarpas? Jesus Christ. I decided to reject a pair of Air Max the other day because I decided I couldn't justify £90 on another pair of trainers right now & you've went & dropped a ton on those things? Fuck sake. Want to buy me some trainers? I promise I'll buy far better ones than the Scarpas.

MM - It would appear they don't do the maroon Busenitz anymore. They came out when I bought my first pair which were black/white/gold. Seems they were both Ltd edition, there's now loads of different colours. Few to choose from, click the pictures for the links.

The ones I'm currently wearing (a fair bit less than what I paid as well :|)

These are just the first sites I've pulled from Google shopping btw, so I'd maybe look about if you are going to buy some. Personally I'd go for the grey ones (well, not personally, I bought the all blue ones, but I meant for you lol). I'm tempted to right now but I really don't need more trainers & if I do buy another pair I need some new Air Max.

The main topic of conversation I had with the hooker I spoke to in Amsterdam (IN A COFFEE SHOP) was Air Max actually haha. She had a cracking pair of the infra-red (they're not actually infra-red, it's just a name) ones on. She said she had to keep them spotless because they look good under the blacklight in her window (this was how I found out she was a hooker, she might have been on the wind-up but I don't think she was).

Talk about honking (not sure if this should be in the Random Gibbering thread) - I was stuck being a Maserati tonight and it has a 'Leather' look exterior (in dark brown). Why?
 
Rocking the Converse as always. Picked up a cheap pair of trainers on sale from USC the other day too whilst I was shopping, canna mind what brand they are but were reduced from £40 to £12. Didn't try them on in the shop as I couldn't be fucked, decided after wearing them on Saturday they look shite but I've had them on now so I guess I'm keeping them and just not wearing them. Will be buying new Converse next time I'm in town.
 
What are they for? Obviously they must be specialist shoes at that price, right?
 
them dark blue ones with the red/orangey stripes on are nicest.

The brown ones are fucking mingin...the grey ones are nice, but not for me....

I prefer suede based trainers.

Why do they look so retarded and cost so much, they must be built for playing a certain sport, no? They definitely aren't designed with fashion in mind.
 
Do you honestly think they look that bad? I spotted them when walking through a mall and they stopped me in my tracks ! They (to me) simply look amazing and I would love to have them. The ones I looked at (as per the updated picture) really do not have a specific use and are simply a great designed shoe. Porsche design a lot of things - they are seldom cheap.
 
I would have thought a company that designs cool sports car could have made a pair of trainers that didn't look ugly as fuck. IMO they are horrible and I wouldn't wear them for free.

They are designed solely with fashion in mind. They aren't for any purpose other than as a normal trainer or concept type thing.

The guys at Porsche design cars. Not trainers. They probably think they look great because they look all weird & high tech. I wouldn't let a joiner fit my sink, same principle.
 
Ever had Adidas Y3s PT ?

I got given a pair when i was selling the issue . They were the fukin bollox about £160 retail . Black with red trim .

This couple asked me what shoe size i was i told them n they asked me if i wanted them cos their son didn't (spoilt prick ) .
Nice drop though.
