A POWERFUL ecstasy pill is believed to have caused the death of a young man in Inverness and left his friend in a serious condition in hospital.

Scott McIntosh, 20, died just after 8pm at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness on Thursday and police believe a type of ecstasy pill called Einstein could be to blame.

It is understood ambulance crews were called after Mr McIntosh suffered a fit at a house party with his 20-year-old friend, who has not been named, also falling unwell.

Another death attributed to MDMA, when there was probably no fucking MDMA involved at all. ffs -.-

Its the same as you posted up LSDMDMA&AMP

Where do they look like they have come from? with a packet and everything,

MDPBP is sold as NRG-1 Correct?
How easy is it for someone to obtain the chemicals to create PMMA, Versus Making MDMA ?

Since last summer, PMMA has been responsible for 19 deaths on the European mainland.

^Much easier. It's made from anethole, major component in anise oil which isn't regulated at all. Sassafras oil or other oils rich in safrole are much harder to get in bulk in most countries and cost a lot more. All the other chemicals are the same as the reactions used are the same (oxidation, reductive amination).

The surviving friend is posting currently in the European Drugs forum if you want the story from the horses mouth. Sounds like they were indeed very strong MDMA pills. Whether they had something else in them is unknown at this point. Some are suspicious of PMA adulteration but this is unproven as yet. They didn't take one, they took quite a lot in a relatively short time. Insane body temperatures were recorded which probably were involved in the death.

So the reporting is not totally inaccurate. Some guys took some Es, one died, one nearly died. They were Einsteins.

This is what can happen when you buy and consume drugs. I know people like to believe they are safe with their test kits and pill reports but they can only help so much. These pills had good pill reports and the most basic comment tests probably wouldn't have shown adulteration, if it was indeed PMA, if there was any at all.

That looks nothing like the pill. It's blue with e=mc2 written on it even your logo is different.

The guy who died was my mate, and the other one hospitalized was me. Go on pillreport look at all the reports on those pills you will see they test as having MDMA in them and the common guess is 80-100mgs.

Sorry but some of the posts I'm seeing are starting to annoy me. We weren't just two wee dafties with no clue what we're doing I've been a regular of here and pillreports since 2008 and doing e's 6 years. They had MDMA in them. And what use that link is I have no idea really.

EDIT: My post from EADD

What use is that exactly? The link he provided is of a white pill and the logo says e=xtc = DIFFERENT PILL.

For the people saying there was no MDMA you are wrong.

I'm not blaming the MDMA it was the other ingredient, which I am 90% sure was PMA. Read what I've actually written, first hand experiance, then google PMA.

Read the reports, all of them, from the people who've actually had them.

So, help me understand this.
You weren't randomly taking pills, and you weren't two "wee dafties" with no clue.
I assume that this means that you tested your pills and felt that you knew with reasonable certainty what was in them.
However, a chemical called PMA, which is responsible for multiple deaths, was a major ingredient in the pills.
Your friend took them and died.

I am having trouble with some of the details there.
Please help me connect the missing dots.
No offense meant, but I truly don't understand what you are mad about, if you and your friend took PMA or didn't know what was in the pills, or why your friend died, if you were as responsible as you seem to claim.

It doesn't look easy to identify PMA mixed with MD(X)A by reagent testing - an MDA/MDMA mixture will give the same result on all of the tests. The safest thing to do would be to test with robadope reagent and not take it if it turns red, but that wouldn't detect PMMA as a contaminant...

And yeah, the first line should read, 'A CONTAMINATED ecstasy pill is believed to have caused the death...'

Sorry rockstar, but reading a couple pages of pillreports and basing a decision off that, is not what i'd call being safe. At all.

I Feel for you and your buddies, but you can't trust the internet for anything.

So what is pillreports for? Does it have a useful harm-reduction function at all? Having some reports to give a clue is probably better than what I did up till 1994 which was randomly neck whatever pill was available.
