It might be that your expectation of 'euphoria' simply isn't going to match the reality of taking oral opioids.
For me the most euphoric aspect of opiates is how they can negate mental suffering. It is the contrast between feeling very low and then being lifted up which makes it a feelgood substance in my case.
If you are looking for a strong and uplifting rush, you might have better luck with different substances (uppers, empathogens). The other option would be using opiates IV. Heroin is pretty well-known for that. However, this is absolutely not a direction to send yourself in.
