Stop bashing cops

Wait, I don't understand WHY we shouldn't bash cops. They violate our rights and throw us in prison for exercising a personal choice in lifestyle, and chances are they bash us all the time too. This feud is not over Officer Buncome, I will persevere and win the war!

There's no denying that how a person looks makes a DRASTIC difference in how that person is treated by the police. I'm not saying it's right. Sometimes people can't alter their looks to avoid police harassment (racial profiling), but in many instances a simple change in clothing style will make a huge difference when it comes to dealings with police.

Of course sometimes even trying to fit in by dressing like a "normal" person (not a hippie or thug) won't be enough to save you. Especially if you live in the wrong neighborhood or drive the wrong car.
 
People here seem to be pretty rich or well off so they dont understand how it completely destroys your shit when the law gets put on you and you come up short

Wrong. Us rich folk have more to lose by getting busted.

But it's true that if you're poor, you're more likely to get harassed by cops. I think this is due to a combination of police focusing their efforts in higher-crime neighborhoods (usually the poorer ones), and the fact that rich people usually understand how to dress and act to avoid drawing undue attention from police.

Try saying that after they railroad you into 15 felonies that you didnt commit with the outlook being 5-8 yrs in the clink, while being on probation and having a second violation of prob. hanging over your head.

FUCK THE POLICE.

Yeah, there have been a *few* who treated me with respect and kindness but for the most part they are fucking assholes. I mean they chose a job in which they *know* they will be arresting tons of people over such dumb shit as drugs. They lied to me in order to get a statement, made derrogity remarks about me and were basically total assholes in 90% of my dealings with them. Detectives on the other hand are great, but VICE ? FUCK THAT. COPs can all go die a painful death for all I care. So much corruption and bullshit that the 'good' officers don't make up for the rest who are fucking evil pricks.

the cop that arrested me is the type that gives all cops a bad name. my roomates girlfriend works for the police dept at our uni, and says the same guy is harrasing her sexually all the time. she is going to get a tape recorder and get him fired. HELL YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there has never ever been a situation where a cop has ever done anything but hassle me, and for no good reason at that.

I have to disagree with the original poster. Fuck cops man. I've been hassled a ton of times and they havent done anything but let me down in other area's. Where the hell were they when people robbed my appartment? What about when me and a friend got in trouble with a bunch of punks? They're never there when you need them and always there at the worst possible time. I have never met a decent cop.

Well, im sure they mean well in their own twisted, brainwashed way. But i'd rather have cops focus on keeping violent crimes down. None of this "lets crack down on pot smokers"-crap. :\

the one who arrested my man is under investigation
hes 26 and they caught him sending pix and chattin up bitches like 16 17 18 yrs old from the high school

Before he was a cop like 5yrs ago he used to be one of them jock parrtyer type dudes and knew mad ppl (thas why he is narcotics task force cuZ he can bust all his old peoples aint that nice!) anyways he fucked this kids girl who was 16 or somethin at the time too, other ones too, he got a thing for under age bitches...is aight when youre 20 but 26 8o
bein a cop while u mack it to all these teenage ladies LOL his ass gonna have some trouble
 
I really don't like cops! and that putting it nicely. I used to think that they where good protectors and good guys but after you see a cop point a gun at your daddy and throw him on the dirty ground like an animal...it changes you.
