Stoner/doom metal anyone?

If you can't hear the sludgy elements of doom in some of their stuff, then I don't know what to say.
Sure, it's not as slow as some doom, but it's still slow with signature tempo changes. Sure, it's not tuned down to shit, but it's still down tuned. Sure, the drums aren't plodding along as 'steadily' as usual, but they are still plodding along. Sure, the vocals are clean.
I really, if you don't think their music belongs in a thread called 'Stoner/doom metal anyone?' which are 2 very different genres to begin with, though there are commonalities.
I mean, I don't even like trad/funeral/epic doom, I like my music sludgy, crusty, filthy, drowned in blues, and slow as fuck.
I'm an Iron Monkey, not a Young Widow, but seeing as there is so much room in this thread with such a big guest list, I really don't think they're out of place.

Next you'll be telling me Black Sheep Wall shouldn't belong in here. I loved their new album.

well yeah, in and out of youth and lightness is sort of sludgy (whatever the fuck that means) but settle down city and old wounds are straight up noise rock.

edit: black sheep wall is awesome.

ive been listening to soo much doom lately, mostly EW and bongripper. We Live has currently been my favorite EW album but they have so many fucking amazing albums.

Also check out Dead Rooster! Their album witches of belial is insanely good, ive listened to it like 50 times in the last week

Vinnum Sabathi by Electric Wizard, easily my favorite song of theirs. Not really in their traditional style, but it's a hard hitter.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS THREAD!

Few bands that need to be mentioned in here;
Belzebong, Slow Horse, Without God.

Belzebong's "Acid Funeral" is seriously one of the best stoner doom tracks ever written, IMO.

I'm looking for a stoner metal song which is very quiet at the beginning and at the end someone is screaming like he kills your mother and rapes your fucking dog ;)
I think it's about bong smoking. 8-10 minutes long. Sounds a lot like Electric Wizards "Dopethrone" and is very similar assembled.

Acid Bath is fucking great. First I fell in love with Scream of the Butterfly, and the rest was history. They are the only "heavy" (sorry, not much into the music scene anymore) band that I still love and listen to after my "goth/metal/not sure what to do with my self" phase has been long gone. I love their lyrics. I need to search the net for new copies of When the Kite String Pops and Paegan Terroristic Tactics. Sadly mine are so scratched they only play a few songs. Does anyone like Agents of Oblivion?
