Stimulants as workout supplements?

Food for thought:
Stimulants such as 1,3 dimethyl, caffiene, etc. found in pre workout powders act as vaso-constrictors. Meaning they actually constrict blood flow. The exact opposite of what you need when working out!

This is not at problem since most PWO's are combined with a lot of vasodilators like AAKG, Citrulline-Malate, straight Arginine and so on.

Trust me on this one. DMAA (1,3 dimethylamine) and ephedrine combined with caffeine has a place in the gym for the serious minded athlete. You can use them responsibly if you use your head.

If you lose your appetite, then take some kind of liquid food, protein drink etc.
 
Mixing DMAA-eph and caffeine is pretty silly in my opinion if you intend to pull serious weight. People have died on much less than that.

I'd say either stick to Eph or DMAA+caffeine. Ephedrine should be good enough by itself.
 
I used to use jack3d 6 months ago but I stopped using it because it gave me heart palpitations. The only stimulants will use now are Clenbuterol and T3 at reasonable dosages.

Yeah, DMAA gives me heart flutters, but they don't hinder my BP or endurance. I might also add that they discontinued after I quit using cocaine.
 
Would 5mg dexamphetamine pre-workout really be dangerous? Surely it couldn't be worse than 100-200mg of caffeine?

theres actually no research what-so-ever that shows arginine increases NO in the blood and hence increasing vasodilation, ive used aakg and i feel no different at all. i think its pretty useless, u may feel it does benefit u though.

whats with all the people on this forum using recreational drugs like cocaine, weed and ecstacy..? they do nothing but hinder ur goals as a bodybuilder. im way 2 serious about bodybuilding 2 be f'ing around with recreational drugs, if ur not then thats fair enough. to each his own :)

This forum was founded upon recreational drugs, the steroid section is just thrown in here randomly.

If you're looking for serious BB'ing discussion then I recommend MesoRx, Ironmag, or AnabolicMinds. I only stick around here to offer help to those who need it. I don't use any recreational drugs either.
 
I wanna share a friendly advice that please avoid steroids of any sort as you can.

You should see my arms when I'm working out. Maybe I have to post a pic :)
I have used l-arginine and I felt no difference at all, but with AAKG or 4 gram of AAKG and 4 gram of Citrulline, the pump is insane!

Today I had that combo of aminos, and also included the following stims:

300 mg caffeine

150 mg DMAA (some tolerance)

Earlier this day I consumed approx 10 mg methylphenidate stacked with about 300 mg of caffeine (divided in three doses).

I don't know about that because many doctors and natural health remedies call for using L-Arginine to treat Erectile Dysfunction. It obviously has some effect on vasodilation considering its being used successfully for that and being the primary ingredient in many NO products that advertise increased pumps and such the research must be pretty solid.
 
have taken a few workout supplements, met-rx amped, superpump 250 or whatever its called, they used to give me heart palps, felt weak and feel dizzy. although i was doing mephedrone on the weekends, cant have been good for my ticker

apparently dissocatives are good for workouts? might have to give it a try if i get back into fitness

No. They are dog shit for workouts. You will either end up hurting yourself severely or being arrested if at gym.

I don't know where people are getting this idea from but it's pure heresy.
 
I used to take a supplement prior to working out from GNC that contained ephedrine....obviously now it's illegal, but it seemed to work well.....except one time I took a couple to help me stay awake and my heart started beating extremely fast for several minutes as if I was having a panic attack or something. I stop0ped taking them after that

I've had to do army PT after a 3 day long ecstasy binge really not fun running 3 miles when you have'nt slept in days and are still kind of rolling.

A wot? Three days on MDMA with no sleep just wouldn't work, after 3 days of dosing you would definately not be rolling anymore, the only thing that would be rolling all the over the place after 72 hours would be your blood pressure and heart.
 
I cant see how taking anything more than a threshold dose of a stim would do much more than raise your risk of cardio damage. More energy yes, but I'd not want to trade the performace for health.
